One of them is too good for d2 but the other is average and only talked about because of his brother.
How they both got in the team of the year is beyond me.
Watched three sharks games this year, two of them the skipper starred in, and the medalist was best on in the other. There were a few odd calls in that team, but these two comfortably earned their spot.

Lampi's are not @ orden.

One is training @ Footscray VFL and the other is going to Europe next year, you have just made that up.

Looking at the div 2 draw for 2014 the league did new boys TARNEIT no favours by giving them 4 of the top 5 sides from last year in the first 6 rounds..........maybe the league could have given them a softer draw at the start

Doesn't matter in the end ... With All teams playing each other once if good enough will play div 2... If not no big deal will mean playing against sides around the same level as themselves no 200 point beltings with an aim to build and rise through the divisions as every club aspires to

Reckon it will only help them because once they start playing against the lower sides, they will be more in tune as a team

how will 20 goal losses help u tune as a team ??? from what im hearing there gonna be on par with sanc lakes last year and there avg losing margin against the top 4 was over 20 goals

Exactly my point, of course they are going to get flogged by the top teams but they still ended up with 6 wins because they could beat the other teams around the mark. The same thing will happen with Tarneit and they will be able to gel as a team better against those lesser teams after playing in games they were never going to win anyway.

Just because you may be losing by 20 goals against the top sides doesn't mean that you still wont be improving as a team, especially a team in which the vast majority have never played with eachother so the players will be able to get to know how they each play and what not.

Its not hard to understand

around the water cooler is where all the gossip is.

Have seen some posts regarding the LAMPI boys and the news around the water cooler today was that one of them has been seen down Glengala road way.

i dont see 20 goal losses will help a team/club gel espc a new team in there first 6 games ?? there not gonna learn how each other plays if anything will have the opposite effect blokes drop off' possible recruits go elsewhere and zero atmosphere around the club now imagine there first 6 they win a cpl and come close in a cpl and all of sudden those blokes are up and about' more ppl coming to the games and those cpl players that might take them the next step and help create the club

see braybrook vs albanvale Anzac day JARRYD FORMOSA HITTING THE GYM HARD DECLARED WAR ON THE BLOKE FROM LAST GAME ITS ON

Can't use the numbers at preseason to predict anything about how a season will pan out. Unless the boys are turning up to training during the season, preseason counts for nothing unless we're comparing tans (and I'm not talking about running The Tan).

Preseasons count for nothing? It's that obvious you haven't done one evo.
Smart bunch thinking fitness means zero

Smart fella who forgets that once fitness is gained, you have to maintain it. 50 blokes on the track in November means plenty for early interest but a club has to convert that interest into something more consistent during the season. Been around for a while and have seen those numbers count for stuff all too often.
You know the drill, best preseason ever and all that shit.

You saying that WV love to not turn up during the season?
I doubt GO and Parksides numbers drop dramatically once the season has started

Ok, so I talk about seeing training numbers during the year and you automatically think I'm talking about WV? You're detective skills are top notch. First you think I'm Evo and second I'm talking about WV? Please don't investigate any murders mate because you'll go the butler even when there isn't one around.
Banter aside, I don't anything about WVs numbers during the year, only watched them in a few games.

So who wants to have a crack at the ladder positioning at the end of the season? Would like to know the sides to beat

Glen Orden
Parkside
Manor Lakes
Wyndhamvale
North Footscray
Sunshine Heights
Caroline Springs
Albanvale
------------------
West Footscray
Sanctuary Lakes
Braybrook
Tarneit
Laverton
North Sunshine

That's my guess
