Probably a lot more then what u think, or would like to believe.
But if any of u can sit there and believe that either of them is paying less then 80k a year then u got no idea..... and again, good on em, this discussion isn't about what they r spending, I'm just purely pointing out that Newports spending is probably the least in the Comp.....[/QUOTE

Ok the original post was about the abandoned match and issues at Newport Games...What has that got to do with Money Spent ? You are obviously involved at Newport and defend them. If you are one of the people trying to restore discipline and get the right players to the club, i take my hat off too you...If you one that thinks there is no issue at all, well what can i say...Hey footy is about opinions, and my opinion from the few times I've seen Newport play...The coach must pull his hair out & bang he's head against a wall...

What chances has Newport blown??? Winning a flag is div 3 in therr first year, or been very competative in div 2 in there first year??

Seriously why is it so hard to give credit when its due???

Newport Power is a club with lot of history, the club is a powehouse in the Wrfl with its jrns. Give them a chance...

Powerhouse club, gee Buddy you must be pulling our leg surely..It's great the club has juniors but maybe best they stay as a junior club by the sounds of things I read on hear and in social media..Even 1 incident is 1 to many..Your club and the league have an obligation to provide a safe environment for players, umpires, families etc..Obviously umpires not feeling safe at times mate..

"Duck noted the addition of a points system and salary cap had helped “bridge the divide” between the best and worst, with all divisions having at least one premiership contender."

You'd bloody well hope so. Not much of a competition if we get to the end of the season and nobody bothers to play in a grand final.

Following meeting of club members last night, Point Cook confirmed to join WRFL Div 2 in 2018

If you were not there you can not coment as especially on big footy there is a lot of chinese wispers

Well as a matter of fact I *can* coment on one game, as I was umpire escort for the away team trying to keep the feral scum away from the umpire and one of the players lying on the ground with a stomped face. Is that "there" enough for you?

鞭击 <-- Chinese wisper for you

That's a good one for you!

Backward move surely..

Disagree. Division 6 (maybe 7 next year) of the ammos is hardly football utopia. Think they realise their future is with their massive junior numbers and the best way to retain them in senior grades and build as a club is to compete with $ with the many clubs around them. Exactly what Werribee Districts concluded three years ago.

Think PC will be in WRFL Division 1 within 5 years, really think they will kick on.

Yep, but when a certain executive is 'in bed' with the WRFL hierarchy, not much you can do.

In fairness, it was probably due for a review, but the way this whole thing panned out was nothing short of a disgrace

Division 6, 7, 10 or 12 doesn't really matter, it is anything but the WRFL!
