It's an award, like the greatest royal rumble belt. Goes straight to the pool room.
makes me wonder if they commissioned this "fancy" version of the belt for the ceremonies, and the winner gets a 'replica' version? would seem like a lot of work to crank out 2 identical copies of the original to hand out every year.

In today's paper The Sunday Times

WWE coming back to Optus Stadium in 2025 is the rumor. Deal agreed but just about the when of it. It will be in second half of year so would think October or November so highly suspect it will be the Bad Blood PPV

Hopefully they don't rip us off again.

Everyone of these international PLE get a Smack down.

It's time give us that.

Other side of the country again? Yeah, no thanks.

I’ve been looking at a Reddit thread on the rumour. Quite a few saying that they would not go again because the price last time was way too much.

I wonder what effect that will have on the attendance combined with it probably not being a big name event.

I couldn't do Perth. It's too far, it's too expensive, and Perth is shit. Brisbane was about my limit for AEW, I wouldn't have gone any further - and Brisbane is a lot to do with having a lot of old friends up there.

I hope they'd do a Raw or SD in Melbourne or Sydney, but that's probably a tough gig from a bump-in/bump-out perspective when their sets are so huge. And I'm sure the WA Government's contract ensures exclusivity.

The problem with these government gaurantee contracts. They don't have to price things all that competitively as they have made their money anyway. It'll be top $ ticket prices sadly

UFC has gone the same way. Tickets are absurd and the events are weaker than ever. All under the same management banner

I don’t think there is any sort of exclusitivity clause.

Articles state that they are just “negotiating”. So may not even happen in the end even though it may well.

Perhaps other states just don’t have interest in it? I wonder if Victoria are disappointed with SuperShowdown years ago that they would not be doing this again? I wouldn’t blame them if so. Brisbane already have AEW so that probably would rule them out as an option as well.

If they are doing another Optus Stadium show, I expect a much lower attendance than the last. Won’t have the Elimination Chamber premium hype either as there is no major type of PLE around that time.

If they can get John Cena on the card along with CM Punk and others there'll always be hype.

That didn’t work for the Melbourne show years ago when they had Triple H, Shawn, The Undertaker, and Kane all involved. Plus Daniel Bryan was involved in that show too. All those names and the hype still did not lead to amazing ticket sales.

I don’t really think it is the stars they named, but the event they held which is what matters in the end. If it is not a big event equal to Elim Chamber or even more, then it will be difficult for the show to be successful in the Australian market in my opinion. People are not just going to travel for some low name PLE.

I mean you had 70,000 in 2018.

I can see it being something like Bad Blood or if it's in November we may get War Games, unlikely but still.

As someone who went to elimination chambers and lives in Perth I’d likely go. Thing that makes it not a sure thing is if triple h keeps only going 5 match cards Id likely pass. We had Two good chamber matches and that’s about it.
Sick of not many matches per ple.
