That women's title match actually got the crowd pretty invested and loud considering what it was following.

Rhea was dumb for taking her eye off the ball.Yesss Liv retains
I get worried by the Goldberg interaction though..Yeah, nah. That's a meaningless title and another thing the devalues the roster split.
Good at least to see Cody vs Gunther though.
I get worried by the Goldberg interaction though..
We know he only wrestles at Saudi pay days, so that to me suggests he might be fighting Gunther there.
And for that to happen (short of him being SD champ), Gunther would have to drop the title..
To Sami presumably….due to Goldberg distraction?
Boo.
presumably Survivor Series.I get worried by the Goldberg interaction though..

The end didn't make a lot of sense to me. Rock comes out and you're like "oh, that's the team, we're doing 4 on 4 at War Games" - but if you're a babyface, you don't come back and leave such a massive air of doubt. I mean, you can in WWE lore, but it's rubbish story telling.
I really hoped they'd forget about his stupid toy belt, its embarrassing.
HIAC match was unbelievable, brutal match without being stupid and unsafe.
Nia Jax has become really good.
Rest if the matches men, can't stand Rhea as a baby face.
Tag match was OK, ending was great, The Rock being back in Final Boss mode will be great.
A good show, but a strange show. Despite it only being 5 matches, I feel a similar exhaustion to what I usually feel after AEW PPVs.
The extent of the blood coming from both guys in a WWE context was extremely jarring to me in the HIAC. At one stage Graves talked about "the WWE Universe being uncomfortable" - and I was, but not in a good way. You can mitigate a lot of risks in bleeding, especially if only one guy is going to bleed. But having 2 guys hit gushers makes it almost impossible to mitigate risk beyond blood testing before the match, which has flaws of its own.

Crowd couldn't care less about that return. I'm not sure why they set that up as a big surprise for such a mid performerYeah I don't know how Rhea can be a baby face, if anything that's role belongs to Liv. Also she was rather dumb going after Dom for vengeance instead going for the title. The worst part is that Raquel got a rather lax reception on her return. As has been said before, you'd much rather nuclear heat than no heat at all. No reaction= character death. Same problem with Zoey Stark. You live and die as a performer by the audience.
Rock pinned Cody in the tag match at WM.The Rock ain’t a baby face, to me he was doing the 1-2-3 as in Roman losing to Cody and the throat slit as in a mafia / mob type of way where by him losing he’s done.
Pretty clear they’ve always wanted to do the Rock Roman match at Mania and last year finally gave them the story to start the platform for it. New bloodline has been the Rocks all along and gradually you’ll get Jey Heyman and I even reckon Sami back with Roman.
The Owens then gives Cody an opponent at Survivor Series.
I reckon Punk moves on to Gunther now and puts Gunther over at SS.
