The main innacuracies of these games is simply the lack of people.

I wish I could visit a Dotonbori with the crowd density of the games

Onomichi was more deliberately 1:1 but it's still cool! When I watch walk arounds of the locations the game is based on I feel like I've already been there.



I've been trying to convince the missus to holiday there (Tokyo and/or Osaka) and while she's interested she is deadset on Europe first (she's Italian and itching to reconnect there for a bit). Her brother is an anime weeb and wants to go so maybe we'll have to plan a boy's trip.

You will absolutely love it, I've been there so many times and yet always miss it shortly after returning home. Just a fantastic place to be a tourist.
