She’s now 7 turning 8 in grade 2, time just goes by so quickly that sometimes you need to pause and enjoy the cheecky and cute side to our kids because it’s the best time.:)
When they ask to borrow the car keys because they and their friends are having a study sesh at uni until 3 am is when you go back to the same sleeping patterns you had when they were 3 months.

Expecting our first in 4 weeks! A little nervous but just mostly excited. It’s been fun reading about everyone’s journey. I imagine ours will be just as rewarding and challenging!

It will be profound, it will be incredible, it will have a greater effect on you than anything you have yet experienced and it will change you. You will go from being Howard's son to Ben's dad and there will never be a point where you are you, and you'll love it. (serious complications aside._

Got my daughter's baby Hawks pack in the mail yesterday (along with my own). Love the little baby scarf that came with the personalised bib this year!

It has been profound, incredible and has certainly changed me! Little daughter is now 3 months old and thriving! Best time of my life.

Mrs P gave birth to number 4 a few weeks ago. A fair ordeal this time given she tested positive for COVID shortly prior to delivery. The labour was in isolation so tough for her.

All seemingly well now. But 4 kids under 5 whilst living overseas without family support during covid, sort of makes it a bit tougher. But children are blessings and we will enjoy our time.

Congrats! Hats off. I had 2 under 2 at one point and that was hard enough!!

Mrs Dip and I are expecting our second daughter in March... like having one isn't hard enough! There's a reason kids in tv shows are either babies, or 4+!

I've never been more tired, sore, defeated, perplexed, frustrated, and cynical. But, I've never been more happy

Congrats!!

Wow, 4 under 5 and an active life here.

Hats off.

Afternoon all - have been a bit quiet on the posting front as we were busy adding to the Hawks membership tally by 1. Little guy arrived just before Easter and just in time for us beating Geelong - celebrated his membership kit arrival with a win this weekend too.

Mate, this is ****ing awesome! 🥳

Second little one due in August. A Girl this time. Just in time for our inaugural AFLW side!

My son was 2 in February. He's understanding what footy is. He came to watch me play last weekend and sat quietly for half an hour (which is rare) pointing out where I was at all times.
Will also walk into the room when I'm watching the footy and say 'football!' enthusiastically. Long may it continue!

I may be hitting you up for some advice if my indoctrination attempts aren’t successful. I already have his uncle and cousin lined up to teach him how to kick the footy as I grew up playing league and soccer so am fairly useless kicking it unless it’s a league style bomb or grabber.

Haha good luck!

I think you just need to let it happen organically which I'm trying to do, but point it out every chance you get so he can become familiar with what it is at the very least.
