Looks like we're building a good case to use to get him off - nice work.

The bigger story is that Armitage came along and touched the umpire after the incident.

Where is his ban?
Won't somebody think of the umpires?

The MRP overheard you guys comparing Yeo to Fyfe and they saw the similarities and proceeded as normal.

Goldstein drops Ballas with an elbow to the head 100 metres off the ball and gets a $1000 fine. As hilarious as it is stirring all my Eagles supporting workmates how dirty Yeo is, no way should he get done for this. Legit attempt at spoiling the ball and unfortunately he clipped him in the head, that's football. Free kick and 50m should be the end of it. Definitely should be challenged.

Knew he'd get done based on St Kilda's medical report. If the lad didnt get subbed off as concussed there wouldnt be a case to answer.

Cue Geelong running rampant through the midfield on the weekend and the football world to decry us as flat track bullies again.

The St Kilda medical report wouldn't have said anything about concussion, for fear of looking negligent. Maybe there is some structural damage.

Gut wants us to challenge, head says no. We need him for the away game against norf.

Such crap...was a legitimate attempt to spoil
I actually think we could play well at Blundstone i have played there before it's similar to Etihad in that you just get it in the forward line as quick and deep as possible, I think our forward line is better than Norths and think we can get the job done down there

Whys everyone keep saying this? He was subbed off because of a separate incident

But the concussion is unrelated as it occurred in a later incident. Surely you are aware of this?

Trial was concluded by channel 7.

The opinions of the umpire 5m from the footy, St Kilda players who didn't remonstrate, everyone else associated in the football world, logic et al gets superceded by a Tim Watson type opinion that he arrives to when the game is over and needs a talking point but publically stated otherwise at the time of the incident.

I totally agree. They seemed to think it was ok at the time. Mentioning that you make a player earn it.. Then Watson went on his merry way saying he was in trouble!!

Then showing the Jordan Lewis strike was an absolute joke.. trying to say they were the same action.

Hope we Challenge! & Yeo plays against the cats.. we need him!

We need to challenge it to protect his Brownlow chances ;)

Rubbish decision. Yeo has gone for the ball and there isn't even anything off about his timing. Every now and then someone gets a sore nose, but there is no malice in this.
Poor decision, I think we would be fine to contest this.

This only makes sense if the MRP has simply seen that he was concussed in the medical report and assumed it was because of the Yeo hit.

Wouldn't be surprised. They might think it contributed on some way

This is what I was thinking also, then I thought there's no way they could be so amateurish given what Richardson said in his presser and the fact Webster went back out. Then I remembered it's the MRP so it's entirely possible they missed that minor detail. Perhaps there's our challenge?
