OK...everyone else has had a go. He's my assessment of where each club could potetnially finish in 2005.

Adelaide 1-16
Brisbane 1-16
Carlton 1-16
Collingwood 1-16
Essendon 1-16
Fremantle 1-16
Geelong 1-16
Hawthorn 1-16
Kangaroos 1-16
Melbourne 1-16
Port 1-16
Richmond 1-16
Saints 1-16
Sydney 1-16
West Coast 1-16
Western Bulldogs 1-16

Now if you ask me the PROBABILITIES of where each club finish are likely to be, I'd probably give a totally different answer. However, POTENTIALLY, anyone can win it!

By the way

For those who haven't picked it yet, I was being a bit of a sarcastic bugger...

If you need further explaining, just ask!

I would agree with Slugger there - at this stage you can't get much more specific than that - and you've got them all about right.

well done slugger thats the first one of those i find feasible

You're right, Slugger

your predictions are a slight braver than mine, and may I add that they're pretty realistic.

Brissy, Port and Saints as certainties for the finals is pretty much spot on for mine, likewise with the Hawks, Tiges and Bulldogs missing out.

On form, I think they're pretty safe bets providing nothing extraordinary happens.

The bottom line is that all reports from club training sessions indicates that every team is absolutely flying and that they'll have great seasons and will be in the eight (or at least push for it).

This time of year is always frustrating - I can't wait for the real thing to start.

You'd have to say every one of those looks about right.

Freo 3-15
Geelong 1-12

Western Doggies 7-16

Based on the numbers of voters on those AFL.com polls over the last few months of where each team will fininsh in 2005, and having a quick look through as to which teams received the most votes in each positional group - this is how the punters as a whole (well those who voted) reckon the table will look at the end of Round 22, 2005:

1. Port
2. Saints
3. Brisbane
4. Geelong
5. West Coast
6. Sydney
7. Freo
8. Melbourne

9. North Melbourne
10. Essendon
11. Carlton
12. Adelaide
13. Collingwood
14. Richmond
15. Western Bulldogs
16. Hawthorn
