Well you would if all you heard is there version of events. I agreed until I realised how many people who have no incentive whatsoever would need to work together to shut them down. It’s fanciful to think they would.
Half of their arguments are just “useless” public servants who are trying to bring down a profitable small business, which obviously is like a lightning rod to the media who stroke the small business battler mantra.

The slug photograph was doctored, this evidence was given to the parliamentary enquiry and the metadata on the returned disks had proven that.

Community Chef - a council run business? Why would any council food safety officer give a toss about the council run business? Most would have no knowledge that it was council owned or give it a second thought. Nor would they care about its profitability or its business functions - its not relevant to their job.

As someone who once worked as a public servant, everything you do is based on being impartial. You are like an umpire - you dont favour anyone, nor do you target anyone. You just enforce the relevant laws, rules or regulations. As someone who worked in private business before and after my stint in the public service, it is a different mantra and something that is hard for a small business owner who operate in the grey of rules to understand.
There is no objective proof the picture was doctored, only what Icook has alleged. From my understanding, the inquiry did not find that the file was doctored nor did a police investigation.
I cook asked for the charges to be dropped. As I cook foods were no longer operating and no longer breaching the food safety act there was no need to carry forward with the charges (per the council). Would you have preferred for the council to plough ahead and fine a defunct business?

I should mention when i first heard of this story i thought it was crazy what happened. But then i read further on what happened and i went a full 180. I feel like the actual story needs to be provided as these conspiracy theories are damaging the lives of people who are just doing their job.

Sutton closed a business based on his belief it was the only supplier to Knox Hospital, the bloke is a fraud that can't do his job properly as evidenced by this and the fact that he admitted not reading emails advising him that private contractors were hired as security for hotel quarantine. He lied, mentioning he didn't get anything advising this, then when called out for it, made an excuse that he gets hundreds of emails and can't be expected to read them all.
This is despite evidence showing, he replied to the email trail that contained the advice about private security contractors.

I don’t GAF if you don’t listen to this podcast to be honest, there are plenty of broadcasts I don’t listen to because I know they will shit me to tears. However, I wouldn’t bother posting on a forum about them.

My error. They've given enough hints that the dispute required a legal resolution, but no information that it went all the way to court.
