The overlays actually make these look better, perhaps because red and blue, when used in such a predominant fashion, are quite loud and an eyesore.

I did that. It didn't look great. Besides, it's the beach - sand on bottom, water on top.

SANFL. Woodville used to wear green and gold stripes, so this design itself is a nod to them. Because it's Woodville's design, West Torren's blue feature more heavily with it being the predominant colour.

Thanks, but honestly I can see it going like this:

Them: So describe your design.
Me: *describes design*
Them: Oh ok, well we are seriously considering it, just one last question, are you of indigenous background?
Me: No I'm not.
Them: Oh well then we cant use it as we want an Indigenous person.

I hope not, but I can see it happening (like 95% chance).

Me: No I'm not.
Them: Oh well then we cant use it as we want an Indigenous person.

I hope not, but I can see it happening (like 95% chance).

That better not bloody happen. They should be open as to who submits the design, whether they are of indigenous Australian descent or not.

Fingers crossed It's a great design, so it shouldn't matter whether you're indigenous or not.

1) Was I a graphic designer? They thought this because of the Craegus Designs logo on the bottom of the design. I quickly dispelled that.

2) Describe the meaning of the design.

3) Am I Aboriginal.

4) Am I Torres Strait Islander.

5) Bit more about design and relation to the Dreamtime.

6) Thanks and we will let you know.

So there we go, I'm not holding my breath on this, but at least they actually spoke to me about it, rather than never hearing from them again.

the Historical link to the yellow in St Kilda was put it because the germans were Red white and black but after world war 2 the germans went red yellow and black :/

If the Ford logo was a little lower on the back I'd be on board, but because I'm a perfectionist it just doesn't look right But it's a great design

Ive been thinking for a while now, especially since the dockers have lost their "Purple Haze" game because they always wear only purple, that they should have one night game a year in an all black uniform but with the "Chevron" arrows, collar and trim on the sleeve in Purple. They could then market it as the Midnight Dockers or something. Purple and black looks great together and it really works for the Baltimore Ravens when they do it. If anyone with some photoshop skills could wiz one up that too would also be great. Thoughts?
