Adrian Mcadam, kicked 23 goals in his first 3 games, then realisation kicked in that he was playing for Lol Norf. he soon after quit football through sheer embarrassment for representing Lol Norf & returned back to the bush to live a hidden life

Could you imagine the fan fare nowadays for someone doing what he did 7-10-6-3-3-9-1-3-4-6-3-5
60 goals in his first 12 games that included 38 behinds 98 shots at goal in his first 12 games that is enormous. While Playing in a forward line with Carey Scholl, Crocker,Allison & Longmire.
Also Included the end of Mick Gayfer he took him back to the goal square at Victoria Park & exposed his inability of playing football & he kept scragging him & getting free kicked, others did the same after that & he was finished as a player.

Funnily his 3rd game against Footscray back in the day when stats were not really what they are these days he got a spray from Pagan for not contributing to which he replied "I kicked 6 coach" Pagan apparently looked at the other coaches who nodded & said "good game son"......you can imagine the laughter. He was quiet & well liked just hated being called the names he was at the time from the opposition. Said in a news article some time later he wished he stuck at it with North.

the bloke could of been anything but left for the quite life of living in corrugated iron shit shacks in Central Australia. there was a story done on him by one of the TV net works that use to be on you tube, (i cannot find it any more) basically the reporter set a green wheelie bin up on the oval & Macadam was roughly 50 meters away from it & Mcadam kicked the ball in to it one kick after another. he definitely had potential as his stats show but unfortunitaly for Lol Norf & AFL fans he couldn't deal with the pressure & choose to return to Central Australia
