yeah i realise that. Mitch Brown and Walker are my emergencies. Im happy to take their scores for 2 more weeks until i can upgrade Westhoff into Harvery, so at least that trade gets me somewhere. Trading sideways for Westhoff is not desirable and a wasted trade.

As others have said pretty early in the year and i like to keep an open mind however its fun to hypothesise.

Heh. I like this thread. Don't have my spreadsheet at the moment (and couldn't be bothered writing it all out manually), but several of the free spots in my "target" team are filled with "Misc 2009 DT Gun" because it just isn't clear who is going to kill it this year. I have a list of candidates in each position, but I'm not making decisions on just who yet.

For instance, I picked up Pearce right from the word go because (thanks to Fantasy Freako) I felt that he would step it up this year and I could trade him for a gun, but it's looking (with the exception of that one shitty round) like he might be a gun this year in his own right and be a keeper.

It also depends on who is the right price at the right time, for example Riewoldt is the right price now, but I can't get him without making sacrifices I'm not prepared to make just yet, so it's not the right time for me.
