Some genuine smokeys, as opposed to players who just missed out last year, or young players who's natural progression suggest they should be AA soon:
Beau Waters, Grant Birchall, Daniel Motlop, Luke McPharlin. Also Shaun Higgins, although he probably comes under the first part.

Pears is going to have to tighten up on his defensive abilites to be AA. He leaked the most goals per game out of any defender in 2010...

From Carlton, i'd say Russell is a chance. From other clubs: Travis Boak is the player i immediately think of.

Ha your poster name reminded me of another one. Drummond would be close to the best half back flank in the league. If he somehow manages to play a whole season you'd just about guarantee him All Australian selection.

Boak is a good call also, had some ridiculous odds for the brownlow last year (which I duly took advantage of) which tells me he flys under the radar enough to be a smokey. Gun.
