Watching five minutes of fox news made me want to punch the tv. Especially the host at the moment. Surely there an avenue for an appeal.

Not guilty in sense of the law, However Zimmerman is absolutly the reason the situation happened in the first place and can thank the ******ed self defense laws that he's gotten away with profiling and deciding to be the big hero and harrass a teenager

Self defense? Stalking someone then initiating the conflict, how can anyone call that self defense, absolutely a disgrace. Stunned that people are happy with this verdict.

I am stunned that a Hispanic committed a crime against a black and the racist outburst towards whites has been so large.

Also had a giggle at someone quoting Fox news. I'd suggest anyone with a reasonable understanding of the case and facts available shouldn't be disappointed with the verdict.

What also russles my jimmies is the medias presentation of the case. They have poured petrol on racial tensions and drawn racial lines throughout the case. There are literally thousands of african americans on twitter at the moment inciting racial riots, the bashing and murder of whites, etc etc. I'd hate to imagine if it was the other way around.

In the USA something like 10 whites are murdered by blacks, to every black murdered by a white. Yet in cases like this the media paints a horribly different picture, the defendant is guilty no matter what evidence is presented, and should justice run it's course and prove them to be innocent the result is riots, racial slandering, open hatred to entire colour of people.

A white man gets murdered and its page 20, a black man gets murdered and it a global circus. The media and the sheep that follow can get stuffed.

And just to show you how even handed the "stand your ground" laws are in Florida, this woman was sentenced to 20 years prison when she fired a warning shot at her husband, who was threatening her.

I wouldnt put faith into Florida law makers, they accidently just made computers and Smart phones illegal

Remove race from this case which seems to cloud peoples judgement and this decision does not seem surprising.
