Richmond v Sydney Swans
ES , 7:20pm AEST Thursday, June 28, 2018

  • It’s going to take something special to stop Richmond going back to back. No other team in the league is better positioned for the 2018 flag.
  • Jack Riewoldt is underrated. Not sure how a two time Coleman Medallist can be but he is. Sixteen marks on Thursday. Unbelievable.
  • The Swans midfield isn’t as deep as it used to be. Florent and Heeney will come through but they’re still hurting from the loss of Tom Mitchell.

Western Bulldogs v Geelong Cats
ES , 7:50pm AEST Friday, June 29, 2018

  • The Bulldog’s game against North wasn’t a fluke. These young Dogs have talent and Bevo isn’t a one trick pony either.
  • Young Ed Richards already has some of the best skills in the game. His kicking has a fluidity that only poets could describe.
  • The Cats midfield doesn’t play to the sum of its parts. A side with Dangerfield, Ablett, Selwood, Kelly, Menegola and Duncan should have a better than an 8-6 recorded.

Carlton v Port Adelaide
MCG , 1:45pm AEST Saturday, June 30, 2018

  • Kade Simpson is a legend. One of the most likeable and courageous men in football.
  • Wingard to the midfield has saved his season. Averaging 28.5 touches a game in the last month.
  • Carlton is going to win another game soon. They’re not getting the results they want at the moment but look much better than they did when the season started. Captain Marc Murphy back helps immensely.

Adelaide Crows v West Coast Eagles
AO , 4:05pm ACST Saturday, June 30, 2018

  • Take away a side’s forward-line and they just won’t be the same any more. Without Kennedy, Darling and now LeCras the Eagles season could be in free fall.
  • The Crows aren’t looking towards the “super draft” yet. Only a game outside the 8 though Richmond awaits this weekend.
  • There’s no one you would prefer having a set shot from 50 than Taylor Walker. He was the man for the moment.

Gold Coast Suns v Collingwood
MS , 7:25pm AEST Saturday, June 30, 2018

  • The Dunn ACL hurts. Hurts to see a player recreate their career at a new club and go down. Hurts Collingwood’s paper thin key position player stocks significantly too.
  • Essendon v Collingwood at the G on Sunday is going to be massive. Massive crowd, massive hype and hopefully a massive game.
