Journalist Mitch Cleary reported that multiple players are potentially facing AFL sanctions related to what has been described as “highly inappropriate” conduct.
“It’s understood the dress-ups theme was celebrity couples… with activities related to that,” Cleary said.
While there were reportedly no members of the public involved and the activities remained within the team, the AFL and the GWS Giants became aware of the situation following an anonymous tip-off last month. Some players were overseas at the time and have only recently been informed of the investigation.
