Mega Thread Nick Daicos - Can he be the GOAT? Part 2

Didn't ya'll get blown off the park by GWS seconds team last week and ur coach blamed it on the 'tropical weather' lmao?
uh - youre a week late. The Pies demise as celebrated in Lygon Steet was premature. Yeah Pies were pants by a clear flag contender. Your serial failures choked a 7 goal lead to a team who were predicted to not win a game. Carlton are my second greatest joy in Footy. Thanks for showing up and reminding me.

Right... So perhaps Carltons demise has similarly been premature?

The Pies were far worse last week than Carlton were on Thursday regardless of how insipid they were.

Ah Walshy, after what your sad sack of a club dished up this round, I am actually impressed you even turned your computer on.
Also is your boy Walsh going to be ok next week, after being subbed out in the second half.
Well I think he was subbed, as he certainly went missing.

As he constantly seems to do!

1. A club would have to actually be at a certain level first for there to be a 'demise'. It's just more of the same from Carlton - we've seen nothing different for more than two decades.

2. See, this is yet another example of how deluded you blokes are. Collingwood losing to a premiership favourite on their home ground, who ran away with the match in the last quarter after Collingwood's inaccuracy in the first 3 quarters failed to keep them in the game, is apparently a 'far worse performance' than Carlton coughing up a 7 goal lead against a team of 19 year old's who weren't expected to win a game for the entire season?

Oh boy. It's going to be a very long year for you....

Fadge ya'll were like 50 points down to North Melbourne last year lmao. Go back to your hole.

Sensational player, but he's not above Sheezel, Ashcroft (Potentially x 2 in a year or so), JHF and now Callaghan.

Theres nothing Nick does that separates him from these players.

Ultimately his lack of interest in the contest is his biggest flaw. The rest of his game is brilliant but . Just look at what Callaghan did in the last surge to help win the Giants the game.

Could put every dollar you own on Nicky not doing the same in that same situation. He's terrified of contact.

Ahhhhh. It all makes sense now. You're from Texas - hence your lack of understanding about Aussie Rules.
I've been told one of the greatest pies to ever do it comes from Texas. Coxzilla I believe they call him... Apparently 3 good games is enough to completely overlook the rest of his garbage career.

1. North Melbourne were a far better team last year than Richmond are this year.

2. Collingwood won that game.

3. Collingwood had a bad year, finishing 9th. Their list has been improved for 2025, to address some shortcomings and improve depth - like good teams who know how to regularly contend for premierships do.

4. It's 2025.

Except.....

Daicos has been a genuine matchwinner in plenty of games in his short career thus far.

You might remember one particular game against your own mob early in 2024...

As you said above Fadge. It's 2025.

On 2025 form Callaghan is having more impact on games than Nicky who's too busy sooking to the umps and gargling pickle juice.

It was outstanding from Callaghan. Pretty similar to this situation against Brisbane, wasn't it?

However, Nick of course had better balance and did it alone without needing to rely on his teammates

Callaghan has had a very strong start to the season, and I love watching him play.

Both the same age, and Daicos has been regarded as the best player in the game for the past two seasons, whilst Callaghan was outside every top 50 list published at the start of the season.

Let's see where they rank come year's end.

Once again attempting to speak falsehoods into reality.

Daicos is not the best player in the game and never has been.

For some reason AFL coaches choose to put a hard tag on Nick every week, yet not those guys yet. It's odd. I can't work out why?
