Voss and Hodge are tougher and more formidable captains than Selwood could ever hope to be. For all the 'so brave' commentary around Selwood - Hodge and Voss never had to throw their heads into tacklers to give the illusion of bravery - they were too busy putting their head over the footy and trying to win the contest. Hence why they both have significantly better records in finals and grand finals.

People might follow Selwood onto the field, but blokes followed Hodge and Voss into battle.

What's Dusty allegedly done?

Oh - just read the text message. I always love these ones. 'Gil has stopped the story' - lol, he's not Superman. If somebody assaulted an Uber driver then the press would be all over it and there is not a damn thing Gil could do to stop it.

It's like the text message that was doing the rounds last year about the Qld premier and Cam Munster. People add details to these supposed stories that instantly make it very hard to believe. Not saying it is 100% not true - but Gil can't stop journos doing their job.

Well it is a screenshot of a text message - so you know, compelling primary source. Apparently it must be credible because nobody in the press is writing about it. I mean - it's not even talked about on Twitter, usually a haven for unsubstantiated rumours - so holy hell it must be true!

I highly doubt it. I could always be wrong - but state secrets can barely be contained in this day and age. I don’t think Dusty Martin getting arrested would be under lock and key.
