Gonna be cold enough to light my fire next week, nothing better than sitting in front of the fire in shitty cold weather

Warm fire, glass of stout, snooze. Living the dream.

I missed the [REDACTED] game tonight and maybe i’ll just click to the end of the game day thread and read absolutely nothing from it. Growth.
Someone else in Canberra doing absolutely nothing of value? Shocked to be sitting here.

Have you ever carelessly bid on something on eBay you're not sure you want - indifferent to how it's going to go and kinda expecting be outbid, only to lead the bidding for the majority of the time and then get outbid within hours of the end of the auction and subsequently getting locked into an intense bidding war over something you now need and must have at all costs?

Far too frequently. It is essentially the same emotion as being upset about the Eagles not selecting a player in the draft you hadn’t heard of until just now but must have immediately (ie. Culley).

I hope you win the anal beads.

I can't like this post enough.

I can't remember the last time I actually used ebay like that, maybe 2005ish I reckon.
I only use it now to buy cheap shit I probably don't actually need or that lasts about 5 minutes. It's like online WA Salvage

These days I mainly use 'buy it now' for things I can't find elsewhere. If I look for something on there and there's an auction that's cheaper than the buy it now then I get amongst it in the hopes of a bargain.

Actually had some decent experiences with Gumtree over the weekend. Both sellers replied promptly and didn't stuff me around. Got a 2021 unsused mountain bike for almost half the price which was ****en awesome.

Which reminds me of this meme I was sent:
