Carlton co-captain Patrick Cripps has “aged badly” and “become a journeyman” in the space of two years, according to AFL legend Leigh Matthews.

The work experience kid at afl.com.au is an old school Ratts fan, it seems.

'I'D BE STAGGERED - Voss not fussed by Cripps tackle'

Takes it to this link (nothing to do with Ratts - damn work experience kid):-

Cripps' season so far reminds me a lot of Kouta's 2000 one, pure dominance, dominate the midfield then go forward and kick goals, play tall and small.
Does that mean someone with peroxide-blonde hair will win the Brownlow?

Hopefully this time they'll get it right assuming Cripps stays the course.

Kingy has flip flopped all over the place. Yeah he's said good things but then he's also said he can't see it etc etc etc. His opinion changes depending on the show he's on.

Not really. He's always had huge wraps on our list - pretty much since SOS took over. Only times he's spoken negatively about the list is when we bought in Betts, which he said goes against our list build - turns out he was probably correct on that one.

Then after about round 6 when we are 1-5 he generally loses faith then rightfully whacks us for the remainder of the season.

I'd struggle to find criticism from him that isn't warranted. Maybe he went overboard on our treatment of Teague last year.

Cerra loses points with me due to the use of the word "Craft".
Crippa is an artisan, and his craft is kicking arses and taking names.

Without a single hint of hyperbole, he is the greatest, most talented human being since Leonardo da Vinci.
