We're playing 2 KPDs in a game we're gonna get belted in.

Therefore that'll be the excuse to never do it again.

Because the coaches persisted with a cooked Brown.

It's a ridiculous selection call regardless of how you try to spin it.
Spin it? I wouldn’t have dropped him, I said I would have tried him in the middle.

But you’ve got to take in the relevant opponents when claiming he had less goals kicked on him. I would have given Jones a chance on the better forwards but they didn’t.

It's rather mindboggling isn't it.

And I didn't mean you as you, more a general comment.

If one small defender struggles against a forward, you move him. Particularly in a rebuild scenario

Is there any chance that Crouch coming in without omitting someone from the midfield, and Chayce being dropped, means that Laird goes back into Chayce's role so as not to take valuable midfield time from the youngsters?

Can only hope really.
Not sure our coaching group is that creative.

I hope to god this Chayce selection has to due with his shoulder injury last game. Hinge and Brown deserved to get dropped over him.

That should be the case. Laird can still rack up 30 at half back.

We're scared of getting belted this week. Geelong away, no Tex, young team. So beefed up on what little experience we have in reserve and are crossing our fingers it won't be embarrassing.

We don’t need him in the back pocket, we’ve got plenty of them, we drafted him as a mid. He’s had more of a taste of afl, we need him to make it as a mid
I know we don't need them, but it's very us to do it.

With Crouch in the senior side it's a perfect chance to throw him in there.

cant wait to see the first bounce on Saturday..

whats the odds on it being the Laird/keays/crouch combo?.. $1.10?..

3 of the worst 25-30 year old midfielders in the comp.. all in the same side!..

wonder when this club is going to work out that the game has gone past wanting or needing slow, poorly skilled, bad decision making, panic merchant accumulator type midfielders and that getting 30+ possessions a game doesn't instantly mean a player had a great game.

List management really has its work cut out for it this year and next. Needs to take away the option for Nicks to be a complete fool.
Rebuild needs to be serious. Not half arsed.
*Need to get games into younger players who will likely become part of our future top 4 side.

Out: Walker, Crouch, Sloane, Brown, Frampton, McAdam*
