Lol. Like you don't think we're constantly brainwashing our kids. Everything from manners, to behaviour, to belief system - we are brainwashing them to be images of ourselves. You're probably one of those "My 8 year old is a vegetarian, I gave him/her the choice" or "my 10 year old wants to use the pronoun "they". "They" came up with it themselves" types.
Pussy Dads ™. I eat em' for breakfast.
You allowed them to barrack for freo. Not only is that kind of sick, but if it sticks, they will turn into hateful, resentful, jealous, depressive human beings.
Great job dad.
I would have just reminded them where the door is…that’s all.
I'd have Woosh as Football Manager in a heartbeat. Wouldn't go near him as a coach - he's too stubborn and not innovative enough (the same problems we have with Simmo). If Simmo were to get sacked at the end of the year my preferred candidate for the top job: John Worsfold.
Hear me out.
Now as we all know, ol' Johnny has never been the sharpest knife in the drawer. He has the tactical nous of a bag of rocks. But - the one thing he is very, very good at is getting a bunch of disparate blokes to buy into a club and play as a team.
The issues we have at the moment are beyond structural and gameplan - we have a serious cultural problem brewing at the moment; players going off at each other during games, guys supposedly "opting out" of training, etc. Before we can run we have to re-learn how to walk, and the best way to do that would be to bring in a bloke who can mould us back into being a side where everyone is on the same page in regards to what is expected of them. Offer Woosh the big chair as an interim coach, let him sort out the playing group's sh*t, then we can look at transitioning into actually being competitive again.
Announcing Jarrod Brander as our number 1 MSD draft pick a day early I supposeSimmo presser tomorrow which is odd as he doesn’t do it till Thursday normally

Apparently signed a one year extension. Show of faith from the club to him which is a good sign I think as it shows they believe he's the right man for the job, and that with a fit list we can push for finals next year.Simmo presser tomorrow which is odd as he doesn’t do it till Thursday normally

Tuesday is usually the day they sack coaches, but we would probably be hearing rumblings if it was going down that way.Simmo presser tomorrow which is odd as he doesn’t do it till Thursday normally
Sounds like a retirement incoming then.Simmo presser tomorrow which is odd as he doesn’t do it till Thursday normally
Probably telling everyone Nisbett told him “he can have the job for as long as he wants”.Simmo presser tomorrow which is odd as he doesn’t do it till Thursday normally
He mentioned in the 360 interview that they'll decide tomorrow morning if they're taking Culley with pick 1 so it may be to announce thatSimmo presser tomorrow which is odd as he doesn’t do it till Thursday normally
I don't recall anyone saying we were going to win the flag. Pretty much came up with the same positive vibe talk the other 17 teams did. Everyone knew we probably weren't making finals and were starting to turn the list over. Was nauseating watching him on AFL 360 just now.
Simmo and the same bunch of guys who 3-4 months ago believed we had it in us to have another crack at a flag, which is purely evident based on the fact we have so many 30+ year olds still playing and neglected investing in more youth, have got it so wrong that 3 months later he’s “invested” in a re-build.
If your judgement and self awareness is that bad only months ago, I really don’t have much faith you have any idea what you are doing going forward.
We aren’t fluttering around 8-9th where we’ve had some misfortunes and things haven’t worked out, we’re dead last and getting record breaking hidings every week.
He and the higher up’s can GGF’d
What he should of said is "no comment" because lets face it he's on a hiding to nothing whatever he sez."I have a nice cushie contract, you're going to have to sack me Nissie"
while going on to say how much of a loyal guy Nisbett is and that they have each other's backs
