Scahche has improved so much since I last saw him at AFL level. Using his size better and his kicking (aside from the poster) is really top quality.
Great to see a second tall option that demands attention in the forward half.

Surely he stays in even IF Bruce plays next week.

GWS were two down for a pretty significant part of the game. Ol' mate with the hamstring was dicey at almost the same time as preuss was.

Still only fell over the line and the guy that kicked a third of the goals is going to be out for a while, and was inexplicably allowed to keep playing with a dislocated elbow.

My worry was how many handballs didn’t get anywhere near where they should have gone. Everyone except Libba, Treloar was the biggest culprit.

Our forward line has let us down in several games the past few years, so nice to have them carry us over the line.

Weightman and Naughton were both sensational, very mature performance from both.

Bonti had an excellent second half, Libba showed true leadership, and Macrae was best on ground (or Greene, maybe)

Said it in the match thread - losing Duryea was the worst possible player to lose, hes the only one capable of clamping down on a player like Greene.

It was a good win and I don’t want to rain on anyone’s parade as we all hate the giants and love beating them, but our defence has got to be better than tonight, some of the goals we gave up were from laughably poor efforts from our defence.

Anyway, good win, and go **** yourselves gws - I still do and will always hate those ****wits.

I thought McComb was alright tonight. Stuffed up a couple of things but didn't do anything terribly bad. He actually worked in a few good chains.

Missed an absolute sitter 35m out straight in front. The type of miss that swings momentum away and sees us lose. Thankfully, it didn't happen this time.

Our backline is a mess. TOB a disappointment for me (has he actually had a good game yet?) Gardener very average game and Keath was poor first half but improved second. So many times 3 flying for spoils and getting in each other’s way. Tighten that and we are in business. Easier said than done.
