Yeah and he’s finished. Everyone comes to the end. Should we get richo back out there coz he makes people walk taller?
Im glad you have nothing to do with list management at our club. And with some of the shit you post on here, I can make an educated guess that your last name is either Silvani or Dodoro...

I don't understand the MRJ fascination, he shanks every 2nd kick and has a shocking set shot routine - kicks the ball high as struggles to get distance on his kicks.

His pressure is great so he has some tools but just think he's a bit overrated due to his name.

I'd keep Clarke in the team every day of the week - much more upside.

Don’t think we’ll miss cotch as much as some think. Be interesting to see the side without him for a couple of weeks.
Assuming Ross gets the green light to come in, at least, and again I'm assuming, he will play as an inside mid. This is his only position and when Cotch plays, I think it takes away Ross' game even when he plays as a mid as he doesn't hunt the ball, as he 'gives way' to Cotch. In the VFL he knows his role is to go and get the pill, and he does.

Not saying I don't want Cotch there, but I am seeing one positive that could come from it. Just hoping Ross doesn't butcher it too much.

Interesting arguement. His interview in the VFL, he says his role is different when he plays AFL, also one of bog last game of the year against Hawthorn. I think we will learn a lot this week about him

I don’t know if he has more upside but he’s a better all round player atm for mine no doubt about it. I’m actually puzzled why people want him dropped lol. They see a skinny kid and think nup not ready when small fwd is the one position you don’t have to be physically strong to excel at. The kid is impacting games with his ball movement and skill and people want to drop him? Lol

Not confident with our outs. Full team would ne a different matter but expecting a loss. Hoping for a pleasant surprise.

If we’re switched on we’ll shit it in.

It’s a massive game for top 4. Cats have 5 games left at gmhba stadium which you’d expect them to win. They beat us and they’ve all but sewn up top 4. We win and I reckon we’ll be hard to beat for the rest of the season.

We will have 2 extra days recovery, they are coming back from Perth and they apparantly are loading up, and if we can keep our clearances competitive again, we should win relatively comfortably. Understand worry about Balta, but i think we have enough options down back, and big in with Dusty

We play to our best 4 quarters we win.As I said was not impressed with cats victory against the Eagles poor outfit so not sure why all the hype.Cut there midfield supply to there forwards as we did to blues we're halfway winning the game with strong pressure and intensity. Alot focusing on Hawkins and Cameron, but I think Lynch and Jack can trouble them if our smalls wreck havoc with pressure and delivery has to be spot on make Stewart accountable.

I agree. Maurice has some tools but he needs to keep developing that midfield game in the 2's. That's where I was most impressed by him and his development. Looked good in the guts in bursts. Gone are the days you can be a pressure forward and nothing else. Juddy has a few extra strings to his bow at this stage, though I'm still advocating for Cumbo to get a go. #givecumboago2022

Happy with either and hope they both become regulars in time, as long as they’re both picked before George I’ll be happy.
Heck, I’d play RCD, Stack, Ralph Smith, Sonsie, Banks, Cumberland, Brown or Colina as a small fwd before George.

God I hope they don’t drop Clarke, the bloke is much more skilled than MRJ, and the bonus with him is that you can push him up the ground around the contest to get him involved and he has good skills to compliment that.

Massive must win game for the Tigers this week, win this and a top 4 finish is definitely within reach (fixture is definitely favourable after the Geelong game). There has been the usual fan fare about the Cats from the so called "media" being a top side who are going to challenge for the flag after winning their last 4 games, but let's get real here, they have only beaten sub par out of the eight teams in Port Adelaide, Adelaide, Bulldogs and West Coast Eagles.
The Tigers on the other hand are building nicely into the season and are generating some serious momentum, all the key indicators for winning games are there:
Very organised defensive structures behind the ball, maintaining constant pressure on ball and at the opposition ball carrier, intercept marks within game numbers are up - transitioning into strong offensive running patterns downfield - generating more inside fifty entries and scoring opportunities for the team.
Team selection is going to be critical this week and the club must look at exploiting Geelongs achilles heel and that is lack of pace around the ground and particularly on ball.

This is where it gets tricky:
Ins:
Ross for Cotchin (must play as an inside mid replicating Cotchins role within the side);
MJR for Clarke (this is a tough one as I believe that Clarke has great tools and skill sets and will develop quickly within our football program to become a regular senior player) - but for this game MJR has great closing speed and will make the Cats defenders nervous within our forward 50;
Miller for Tarrant (if unavailable though injury) - Funky has had a solid 4-6 weeks in the VFL and is ready to go again at AFL level;
Dusty for Edwards (this one breaks my heart as Titch has been one of my favourite players within the current group over the last 15 years), but needs time in the VFL to rebuild his confidence - hack kicking the ball in mid air during games is not gonna cut it at AFL level at the moment. Dusty had been building nicely into the season (pre most recent game missed), but looked to be playing sore the last two games he played. A fresh Dusty will be able to impact on this game and he is due for a big game and will create some matchup headaches for the opposition particularly playing in a forward triage with JR8 and Lynch.
Stack comes in as the media sub - loves the big stage and injects that x-factor of speed, skill and toughness.

The non negotiables for this match are:
Nank has to fill the hole in the defensive 50 and help cover the impact of Porkins playing deep and marking in their forward line (feel confident that either or combination of Dylan Grimes and Nathan Broad will be able to nullify Camerons impact on the match).
Tom Stewart must be manned up and made accountable in Geelong's defensive 50 - he is too good a player left to roam free and do his own thing.
The other X-factor we have going into this match is the Tiger Army becoming the "extra player" for the team (you just know the Cats supporters are not going to travel for this particular "home" game), the Richmond players feed off the energy of the crowd, so lets get behind the boys and make it as uncomfortable as we can for the opposition.

Go Tigers...Raise The Fight...Eat Em Alive

Agree with your comments re. Clarke but I reckon MRJ has shown plenty already when he gets up to the wings.

I reckon he will ultimately play more around the middle than forward.

If we’re switched on we’ll s**t it in.

Yeah, I dont think Geelong play the MCG anywhere near as well as kp. Especially when their tall forwards have to lead into the deep pockets at the G.

Huge march as you say and ill be frothing when we win.
