Noticed a few times in the presser that Yze managed a smile and even a little giggle, apologies to anyone who takes offence to that. Also noticed there was a bit of laughter in the background as fans were in attendance for open training today. Again, apologies for any offence caused.
Apology accepted ... completely inappropriate

I hope he does well . But Dominant force at 26 hey. So on the list for nearly 8 years before he is any good then with our record cooked at 30. No wonder Paul Roos said just recruit ready made big guys when they get to 23
Hey I'm glass half full. Ryan was drafted at end of 2020 so this is his 4th season. Showed plenty in a few games last year. A year bigger and stronger. Has a lot more upside than any of our KP talls some of whom have zero upside and appear cooked

Will be bummers fans there who haven’t been out of the house since 2000
Was at Dreamtime in Perth. We were outnumbered that night. When they hit the front (too early, because it gave us time to click back into gear) the noise was deafening. Brand new stands were shaking.

Probably the last time we played Richmond premiership brand football. In retrospect, the signs were there when we switched off in that game.

Even though I understand why Yze does it, I didn't like the way he spoke about the younger players in his press conference.
It's like he uses them as a crutch when it comes to media as he can't admit that it's been our senior players that have been letting us down recently.
He's done it several times. If he's serious it's a real worry. It makes me think that when all the injured players are fit, it will be all the young guys who make way for them. So guys like McIntosh, Pickett, Graham, Short, and Grimes will all play and we'll keep on losing.

Really big moment for Yze and all the players for various different reasons.

On paper, we are not as awful as we have been for the last few weeks, but for some of the older players the question is hanging over their head of "is this a form issue? Or is this just the quality of player you are now?"

Nank. Prestia. Broad. Short. KMac. Martin. Pickett. Even Balta. Bolton. This is your coaches first Dreamtime match and he is wearing your poor form heavily. If this a form thing, then you need to prove it now as otherwise, we may not believe you moving forward. Those 9 blokes were starting 18 players in a Premiership 3.5 seasons ago.

For the young players, its a chance to show if you have any feel for "big stage moments". The intangible stuff. The Cumberland Effect. With Noah, even though we see all the signs of a player who has epic "coach killer" potential - we all see that he has a knack of getting involved & being involved in opportunities. Guys like Noah, Dow, Ralph-Smith, Miller, Ryan - they are the "older" of the young group & need to be the ones proving they can step up. At the moment they all have pretty low ceilings IMO, games like Dreamtime give them a chance to improve on that

For Yze, as much as we all understand his situation with the injuries, and completely empty cupboards of young talent - the performances have gotten really bad & not acceptable. He needs to turn this team around for this game otherwise things will get yuck

Yes, but Dimma & Mini did it too. I think the sad reality is, the young guys are not very good and the club knows it. Otherwise why the **** would you not be playing them?

I think you would make a great politician. You never give up dribbling so much RT. It's like watching the ne3ws and seen you over and over fml lol.

I'm with you on the selection enigmas at punt road. Dimma, Mini, Yze. McIntosh, Pickett, Graham, Short, and Grimes. Grimes & Kmac even being dropped/managed is probably a statement about their career.
But in fairness Grimes and Graham didn't play in the win. the rest did.

Baker, Campbell & Ryan is a slight improvement. Yze has gone with a few kids from early on. Dow, Campbell. KMac2, Brown, Banks. KMac2,Sonsie, Combo & Green stay IN. Is something. Still a midfielder and a KPF short

Jeez I hope we're searching for a new fitness boss as well as a CEO.

Too much loyalty with the premiership heroes. Dimma never dropped them. Mini didn't drop them until the final round. Yze had so far only dropped McIntosh, and recalled him after one decent quarter in the VFL.

When they do play the young guys, they're quite often played out of position and get dropped almost immediately. There's a team balance that is completely out of whack, now because of injuries, but also the blind faith in guys that are either finished or almost finished.

I'm a bit worried we're a KPD short this week, unless Balta goes back. Nice to see a few young guys getting a few games but Yze's hand is forced. Baker will obviously play midfield even though he is too small for the role I believe. I like him as a small defender. Much more than Short who is becoming a liability back there. Kaleb Smith is the one I really want to see very a game.

Wasn't me making a big deal about it in the first place.

Of course because it’s easier for the club to believe the narrative that our injuries and inexperienced youngsters are why we are no good rather than our senior group is no longer good enough.
