Danger to have a 2017 flashback and go at 30% disposal efficiency. I'm backing us to win 13.13.91 to 5.10.40.

one of the coldest spring nights ever,,, but boy it was hot out on the field

People walk taller when someone like Cotch is in the team. His output might not be as prolific as it was, but the s**t he does (like kills himself to spoil Franklin) is unmatched. Kids like Hugo, Ross, MRJ, Balta, Clarke see that s**t, they know what it takes to make it.
Lol give me a break. Maybe for someone of the ilk of "Captain Blood" Jack Dyer who put more blokes in hospital than a bad dose of syphilis. But Cotchin.... really???? Not looking for someone to remind me that he's a 3 time premiership Captain but seriously Cotchin has been in the top 50 players for 3 maybe 4 years over his career and certainly not in the last 5 years. People round here definitely pump him up way more than warranted over the journey. And he's stopped in last few years but was embarrassing how many times he'd whack opponents in the guts and get away with it.

If that’s the case then all the best to him. Will be sad to see him out of the game that’s for sure. Clearly not at his best.
I’m in this camp…But I also go by “never say never“…That Dusty still loves his day job, and wants to help get us to a 4th Flag in 6…Forget about a Melbourne Dynasty…This thing is wide open…

We stopped referencing a mans dick size by the amount of people he put in hospital about 20 years ago.

You dont have to be in the top 50 players to be an inspiration to your teammates. (Even though he was) the bloke literally changed his whole game style to benefit his team. He showed the way, and lead by example on being "team first" and playing your role.

Also, the only thing embarassing is coming on Richmond forum, as a Richmond supporter and saying Cotchin is overrated!!

Grimes has to play on Cameron, I really hope they don't trust Gibcus on him.

I would place Gibcus on him with Grimes nearby. When Cameron runs up the ground Gibcus can go with him. Grimes can stay and patrol the backline and when Cameron goes back into the forward line Grimes can meet them

I think Cameron is more dangerous up the ground a bit like Buddy. I do not want Grimes doing hamstrings running all over the place after him unnecessarily

This would be in the context of Vlastuin, Broad and others defending the backline so we have plenty of coverage and support

I would start Broad on him. Not against mixing it up as the game progresses but i have concerns that gibcus is too skinny a player at the moment.

Dropping the ruckman into the hole will be important too.

I disagree Grimes played on Curnow last week who has huge endurance, Grimes's tank has never been an issue, he also has speed as he has played on a a lot of quick small forwards Grimes he is at he's best when plays 1on1 with someone Gibcus & Vlastuin more your interceptor, I would put Tarrant on Hawkins and let those to block and come 2nd man up.

With respect Cameron is a different beast than Curnow. I think Cameron would be a better runner. Not sure why we would need Grimes in our forward line chasing Cameron. I do not see this as a dick measuring contest rather a horses for courses exercise where Grimes does his bestwork for us in defence for us so he can be out his best for us

I reckon Broad. He can go with him up the ground and ideally Grimes plays close to goals as possible. Or Grimes could take him deep and hand over when he gets up the ground but I reckon Broad can handle him on his own. Cameron doesn't really play as a traditional key forward, more like a tall utility.

If Tarrant can break even with Hawkins it'll go a long way towards us winning I reckon.

I’m confused. Is Cotchin less of an inspiration to his team mates because he didn’t hospitalise blokes like Jack Dyer or because as you say whacks blokes and gets away with it?
