type player but that actually means everyone else needs to show a bit of smarts.

If you’re handballing to him run your man out of his area so he’s got space to go, if you’re kicking it to him try and hit him in stride so he can be proactive and take ground. Yes we’re looking for him which is great but show at least a little bit of thought.

He’s in sensational nick at the moment.

Now that he's pulling down contested intercept marks he's essentially doing it all.

Probably left his run a bit late this year but he's going to push AA selection for the next 5 to 6 years.

Tom Stewart is probably the only other player with as wide an array of high quality attributes as Redman. Saad might be the other but he is a pure small.

The guys with the same level running and kicking game do not have the power and physicality Redman does and have never really played as lockdown defenders. Hibberd might have been there at his best. Lachie Jones is someone with the potential.

Your footy brain is much bigger than mine, I just know he was part of the Wu-Tang Clan, travelled around the outback for a bit and also had a rough trot as an evil sorcerer and harrassed the Ghostbusters, but eventually he's found his rightful place.

Redman has polled coaches votes in six games in our dogshit season (3, 2, 2, 10, 2, 2 = 21). Despite all the hype Rioli has only managed two (1, 10 = 11).

King just blurts stuff out and doesn’t know what he’s saying half the time. In no world is Rioli the premier half back in the comp. short is twice as good and playing in the same team

Needs to stop overkicking the footy when he’s within range, there was so much space out there he could have easily kicked 5 but he kept shanking them looking for that bit extra
