The tough part will be who plays on the resting ruck (they'll bring Fort back for Hipwood)? No doubt Hipwood's the better player but we have better match ups for him at the same time, as Ridley is more suited to Hipwood's type. I'd say Zerk but he needs to be on McStay. Laverde on Joey. So I guess Ridley?

I feel like we might go in unchanged - and there may even be a possibility McGrath could wear the SUB vest…As others have said on here Langford & Snelling both rusty and need game time - neither will benefit by going back to the twos - and theres no reserves game anyway this week…!! McGrath as SUB is not the worst idea as he basically gets another weeks rest which wouldn’t be a bad thing or plays managed minutes. Likely team;-

Kelly Zerk Redman
Ridley Lav D’Ambrosio
Heppell Shiel Durham
Martin Jones Guelfi
Stringer 2MP Snelling

Draper Parish Merrett

Bench: Caldwell Hobbs Hind Langford
SUB: McGrath

As far as the reserves go, they have a bye as well so I suspect we fly everyone up and have a bit of a scratch match. Probably after the main game in case the sub needs a match.

Hobbs as sub might be what we see
Gets him the rest he was due this week. Can shift things around a bit to make it work with McGrath in. In event we're rushing McGrath back and he is subbed out, Hobbs is a good in.
Yeah I reckon Hobbs was going to be the sub until Perkins pulled out

HF Langford Jones Martin
F Stringer Wright Hobbs
FOLL- Draper Merrett Shiel

Sub- Snelling

If McGrath is absolutely 110% then he plays

I was thinking about managing a Langford type but didnt think about the Heppell idea

I think thats the perfect idea. He played wing which as much as i dont like seeing McGrath on the wing im fine to do that for this week

Could be a real opportunity to take away the voice of the side for many years and see which others are willing to stand up and have a say. Especially if Zac is kept more forward of centre

A chance for a Mcgrath, Shiel, Ridley, Redman, Durham, D'ambrosio to step up and have more of a say in the back half of the ground

Im not saying it will necessarily work, but we rarely have an opportunity to see what were like without Hepp. It would be a management thing

I think if we really want to win which i dont mind right now, means nothing. But if we do than id be tsgging Neale with Mcgrath

Guelfi to tag coleman

Kelly will play on Charlie, thats the whole point he was brough to the club. Noticed some sides going with pure speed against Charlie with success but dont think we can trust Hind, hes just to small and not strong enough but a plan B i wouldnt be against seeing as development opportunity

Not sure Mcgrath goes back now though that Hind has found form and D’Ambrosio has arrived, slot him back into the midfield rotations.
All three played back against the Saint’s.

Snelling will get more time, after watching the replay he did some nice things in the last qtr too.

Either Hobbs gets a rest and is the sub or they manage Heppell and make him the sub.

Yes but we didn’t play a key defender, we got lucky that night that St Kilda didn’t show up, the Eagles game was a different story.
Saints did not show up because we pressured them from the start. We did not get lucky.

The Eagles loss was more to do with team defence falling over in the second half than it was not having ZBT or Reid playing.

There is no reason why McGrath , Hind and D’Ambrosio can not play in rotation.

They will not manage Heppell now he is finding some form.
