At the game in a bay directly next to a Richmond members bay.
Their entire bay was loud and proud and sticking it to us in the second quarter but the moment we hit the lead you could hear a pin drop in that section.

Went with a Tig mate, and he got the tickets... in Tigger member area on level 1. Surrounded by rabid Tiggers who were gloating at half-time. Then Juddy came out to play...

Was there (living in Sydney at the time) with my father. To say that he enjoyed it would be an understatement.
We went to a few more round 1 games till it got too hard for him, so I suppose that was the last great carlton triumph that he saw live.

What a great day! Went with a few richmond and carlton mates. Wave of emotions in that second half.
I enjoyed sending off the Richmond prick sitting behind me who was particularly smarmy at half time - he copped some navy blue scarf in his face as we waved Jeff Garlett in.

Richmond players hitting the ground was met with the loudest noise I've ever heard at a footy ground. Perhaps the F111 lighting up the after-burners and standing on its tail pre-game at the 99 GF.
