Reckon it had to have been a clash. Predominantly white against the white of north. Considering Sydney made a big song and dance about wearing the red v for all games in Melbourne. Would be weird if they just chose not to wear it.

Would love to be up against Briz at the GF, as we know their record at the MCG.
To do that they would probably need to win a final at the G which makes my first hope moot.

True, but I don't feel the same way when anyone else lines up as I do when Reid does. I expect him to miss, am pleasantly surprised when he doesn't. Here's our top 10 for the year. Warner would have most of his shots on the run and I don't know what Logan has done with his routine recently, but he needs to stop it. When you consider Reid's often about 30-40 out on a slight angle, and this doesn't count the shanks that go out of bounds or don't make it, it's a fair problem.

yeah, unfortunately we have a few who are surprisingly streaky kicks for goal ... reid has always had a bit of a tendency to freeze on the easier shots, very strange
gulden can duff a field kick now and then but his shots at goal always seem pretty good
and warner can do whatever he wants
i'm like other posters, i think mcdonald will sort himself out sooner rather later, i'm sure it's a confidence thing and linked to him having to come back after being dropped ... i have faith in him, think he's an absolute star in the making

Club posted after the North game that it was indeed determined to be a clash, hence we wore the standard jumper.
