Chris Scott is a bit overrated (tbh). With the list/recruits he's been privy to, he's actually massively underachieved. Would I have loved my club to win that many H&A games? Of course. But for all intents and purposes, it's been 10 years since the walk-in flag of 2011 and hasn't gotten the chocolates since, with some straight set KO's along the way.

So, the DNA is unproven, and Brad Scott was not fit in his own right.

Based on the fact that Collingwood fell down the ladder each year for six years when he took over and have shot up the ladder since he left.

You would get ONE good year out of 10 with him when he decides to step back and give more power to assistants.

He is not an option for you simply because he wasnt successful.
We have had one good year in 20. So 1 In 10 sounds good

Might as well get somebody old and at the end of their career because I can't see this next coach lasting longer than 2 years if the promise of an external review is to be taken seriously.

Really depends on who was want the role at this point. Not trying to be negative but the last week or so may have put a few potential candidates off.

Just hope for a well run process to find the best person for the role.

I'd be very happy with Don Pyke. He should be refreshed and his recent time in Sydney would be valuable insight into a club on the way up and what needs change at Essendon.
He could put the fear of god into them “ we’re going camping boys”

Are you planning to overthrow Kochie in the next day or two?
Wouldn’t mind that. May take some of the attention away from us for a little while.

Robbo in his HS article saying the AFL weren’t happy with us hijacking their big Sunday extravaganza. i’m sorry that our self implosion is inconvenient to their planned scheduling 🤷🏻‍♀️😂
