I agree that we should be able to turn players around. Can't let Richmond and Geelong take all of the miscreants and hit paydirt.

I'd be involving Cripps in any of these decisions though.

I am of the opposite view, want us to continue hitting the draft and developing kids rather than try cash in at least one or two high priced recruits from other clubs every year.

Tanner Bruhn is someone I would love to pinch, but alas is either probably Geelong or Hawthorn bound

This is probably an unpopular opinion,
/view.
I get a bit disappointed to see our players through their instagram pics are already off to Europe/QLD etc. holidaying. If you are playing finals you are still training / working hard etc. Miss out, you get a holiday early? Wish more of them would spend the finals month doing something football focused (yoga/running/weights?). I wonder if the teams finishing top 4, do tend to come back stronger the following year due to the additional training?

I think the non-finals teams start pre-season earlier?

He was involved with some dodgy medical clinic recently and hit out at a cameraman that was ambushing/stalking him.

The medical clinic instantly cut off ties with Ricky.

Coz an intimate relationship with a teenager, domestic violence and drink-driving are fine, but getting agro with reporters is a step too far....?

Seriously, who thinks getting involved in business with Ricky Nixon is a good idea? Forget complex due diligence. At least try a Google search...

I think the problem was that he'd told the producers that he was out and didn't have anymore to share with them. To then be caught with an extra baggie was a cardinal mistake.

Hope we pick them both up… Acres walks into our best 22 and Sholl has shown he has upside but we don’t know how well his SANFL form will translate to AFL but given wingers take many years to develop he’s also worth a shot - and both will come relatively cheap

If we were to land a big name player with Dow and Setterfield involved in the trade, it would have to involve our 1st round pick as well.

I'm not against trading them as they are fringe and both clearly still have AFL value. Setters last few weeks on AFL football were pretty good.

You're not getting much more than an early 3rd rounder for either as it stands though.

Dow was a North supporter growing up. Just saying. North can do with more inside mids.

Strong bodied mid with pace, aggression and big game experience.... think he could improve our midfield output on both sides of the ball.

Was mentioned on SEN by a listener via text that both he and Duursma would be at Carlton next season.
