But I'm starting to feel like I'm not on the Essendon board anymore and this is something of a problem as I come here to see what Essendon people think about stuff.

Is it a problem though? They’re being respectful from what I can see. Yes obviously we’d never want the board to become swamped by them but given the dumpster fire anyone no doubt encounters when they go to the equivalent main board discussions about this topic, I can see why a few find their way here.

Surely we’re mature enough to handle a few outside voices, especially when we’re nearly all in furious agreement with them anyway.

I didn’t put a no oppo tag on the thread and I’m not proposing to infract people who post. I think that’s fairly obvious.

But as you’ve said, we don’t want to be swamped with oppo fans to the point where we can only talk amongst ourselves via private message.

It’s a relaxed reminder that they are indeed not in Kansas anymore and that this is the Essendon board, not their lounge room. I did say that I’m sure they have the best of intentions etc.

Anyone who has further issues with that can send me a PM. I’m not here to discuss moderation in the public threads.
