Two sets of rules.

AFL is a joke. It’s time for salaries to be made public and for teams to be able to trade players without their consent.

There has never been so much corruption and inequality in the game than under the current leadership.

The reigning premiers who have drafted star, after star, after star, have just taken a salary dump from a team that has never played finals. Would love to understand the logic on how we have an equalized competition.

Seriously this league is beyond damaged. Geelong, Melbourne and Richmond will now dominate for the next ten years...just a joke. FREE AGENCY NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!!
He's not even a free agent!

Compensation picks need to be fixed.

How many hobby farms around the Geelong area are now owned by Geelong players?

Even more interesting in the future when they start getting subdivided.

Who is Geelong's number 1 sponsor...hint it's no longer called Kardinia Park..

There has to be something going on. I refuse to believe that all of the players they have brought in are ALL happy to play for significantly under market...even if it is for "success" (which they have only achieved, in the ultimate form, this year). Seriously, would love to know what contra or other deals are being done on the side...like, how many Fords are being provided for free, home many Simmonds homes have been built? It just doesnt add up.

Don't worry, I have every confidence Gerard Whateley will be asking the big questions when it comes to the pick 7/Bowes deal.
Waiting to hear about JHF and Bowes being poorly advised and the pressure they'll be under, plus the friction with the rest of the power and cats playing group....

Nah, he'll be fapping over how good his Catters are at managing their magical "salary cap",the genuis of Steve Hocking and Stephen Wells and what great blokes the Cats players are for playing for way unders so this could happen...

When we tried to, they specifically said it would not be allowed

So are the Cats going to use 7 to trade down with GWS, or are they going to take Clark for themselves?

The former means they likely get Bruhn, Henry and Bowes for just a 2nd round pick, the latter means that they give up their own firsts this year and next, as well, but also get Clark

The issue is the AFL's in the making...they gave them too many picks, allowed them to just add players and so they don't need picks, so one team gets a leg up over all the others in the competition.

This is very true. The frustrating part is in terms of GC - Geelong have been the beneficiary on all 3 occasions
