I heard they actually had the trade done last Thursday but held off until the crows announced Rankine and CD pushed enter when the Crows announcement came though just to stick it up West Lakes and the Adelaide media.

We overpaid a bit for those 2 trades combined, but content enough that it wasn't ridiculously excessive.

Now for Esava, plus we may need to trade a player out (maybe Drew, Frederick, etc) for a 2022 2nd rounder and see if we can uncover a mid/late gem (thinking the likes of Magor, Verrall, etc?).
