This is the greatest trade of our AFL era. Sure, we had to sell the farm but there are only a couple of players from the last 10 years that justify selling the farm- and JHF is first among them.

A club like ours that very rarely finds itself at the very bottom of the table, never gets this sort of top end talent. We now have a stunning young midfield.

I must admit, I didn’t think this could be done with none of our players prepared to go the other way. Cripps and Davies are geniuses. I will start to chisel their statues to put out the front of Alberton.

For those who like the visuals a 14 pick + 2 player deal.

Brisbane are a big winner if North don't bid on Ashcroft at 2. They are huge winners if North don't bid at 2 or 3. You'd think that GWS and North agreed that North didn't want to pick Cadman at 1 and unlike Adelaide they wont bid on a player when they have a pick 1.
