So I took my son to Princes Park today to take some photos for his Carlton-supporting pop (my FIL) who's been in poor health this year, and ended up getting an impromptu tour of their indoor training facilities with Greg Williams. I think he was trying to convert my lad, who was wearing his Richmond jumper.

He was such a nice guy that I totally forgot to bring up the Tony Evans incident.

Definitely seems to be some clubs treating the whole trading thing differently to other clubs. Hard to maintain equalisation when this is the case

I'm not sure how Grundy and Gawn co-exist though, neither are reliable goal kickers.

We made Cox / Naitanui work in 2012 by resting one up forward, and both contributed 20+ goals for the season. It's a rare occurrence of it working.

I think it will work exceptionally well - having a significant impact at the other end of the ground.

Both Grand Finalists this year utilised the ruck moving post-stoppage into defence to free up an intercepting spare.

Can see Gawn playing a lot more behind the ball next year, with Grundy taking a greater ruck role across the ground.

Doing so could also free up H.Petty to shift forward from defence.

This is hilarious, the campaigner could literally live in Geelong and comfortably drive in to Melbourne for training everyday if he wanted.
This is starting to happen all to often these days.

Perhaps there's more to it and he doesn't like the way the club has pushed out players.

Let him go to the PSD.
If North don't get him, we should.

Surely he’s not getting through to pick 18 in the PSD. Sounds like an empty threat to me. Bizarre stance from him given he’s already in Melbourne, and 3 of the bottom 5 are all interstate teams. Who’s taking that gamble on the off chance all 17 clubs pass on him?

Go live in Geelong if it’s that bad (which it wouldn’t be, let’s be real). Some people have a daily commute from Mandurah to the CBD longer than that. What a f*cking sook

It's an hour's train ride, I do an hour and twenty minutes twice a day getting to and from work.
Now this is genuine sooking / still on the tit scenario here...."homesick"....aint geelong like a mandurah-perf drive?
Pretty much

If that's the new trend then we need to get Gov into the ruck.

Definitely. It's a free swing - if he cracks the shits then we delist him after a year. It would also bring this draft tampering bullshit to a head - AFLPA would almost certainly try to intervene, but if they succeeded, would pretty much end the draft.

You heard Rioli speak lately!!!
I think we were all well aware of just how simple Rioli was when he tried to pass off Gatorade as urine

He’s now Port’s problem and will probably raise the average IQ of the area

I don't think I'll ever get over the utter stupidity of knowingly substituting a piss sample for Gatorade IN FRONT OF THE TESTER when he could've just taken a slap on the wrist for heaving traces of weed in your urine.

Sorry mate , Just a little annoyed about SOR comment and should have just kept my mouth shut , I am not proud of my Junior Rioli comment. Comments about IQ , socio economic standing based on what football club you support or where you live I find immature and uneducated. Luke Jackson is a young guy not trying to pretend he is a Rhodes scholar . Junior is not trying to pretend he is a Rhodes scholar. But anybody suggesting that just because you live SOR You are beneath them is far more inferior.
