I am really enjoying the direction this thread is going but FMD some of you blokes are really showing your age. Fair to say I won't be seeing any of you at Knotfest next year

lol I’ve seen at least six on that bill and most of those six multiple times.

Slipknot put on one helluva live show. I think I’ve seen them five times. Correction six times. First was Big Day Out 2005.

Not sure if I’ll make it to Knotfest though.

Not really disco music mate!

I definitely appreciate a few of those bands. You're right, I won't be there but I reckon it would be an awesome show 👍

All those bands out of their prime too. Its more a show of some kind of nostalgia. In Flames I saw in 2002 with Chimaira and Killswitch at HiFi. That was one if the best ****ing shows I have seen.

Parkway put on a ****in mean show too.. good little rich kids from byron bay

On a Friday is a s**t day to have it. However Gojira, IMO are better than any band on that list.
I do love Gojira. I’ve been thinking about grabbing tickets for their sideshow with Lacuna Coil, moneys a bit tight on approach to Christmas lol

More bands I want to see at knotfest but Good Times (Things?) is looking mighty fine indeed! Have to give it a miss though unforunately.

TISM will rule Good Things.

Gojira are worth checking out.

BMTH, Deftones and NOFX have been pretty ordinary when I’ve seen them.

maybe true of the big bands, but not the ones lower down the bill. Knocked Loose are the most interesting hardcore band in the world atm, Spiritbox are super fresh, and the local Void of Vision and Alphawolf boys are doing good things (pun intended)

Ratten, who was axed from St Kilda with two years remaining on his contract, took some time recently to holiday with family in Bali, but is about to reconsider his football future.

Ratten also has strong links with North Melbourne coach Alastair Clarkson after winning three premierships together at Hawthorn in 2013-15.

The Kangaroos have John Blakey, Leigh Adams and Jordan Russell as part of their assistant coaching staff as well as Gavin Brown and Brent Harvey in development roles.

Ratten would be a huge coup for North Melbourne in a support role for Clarkson, but it remains unclear whether he would be prepared to return to football full-time.

The Kangaroos would also have to fit Ratten into the club’s soft cap which includes Clarkson and new football general manager Todd Viney.

Former Hawthorn ruck coach Damian Monkhorst has also been linked to a possible ruck coaching role at North where he could help guide young talls Tristan Xerri, Callum Coleman-Jones and Jacob Edwards.

Ratten is likely to make a call in coming weeks whether to pursue a return to club land, a role in the AFL media, or to step away from the game.

Why would he go Back to Carlton they knifed him

Any updates kingy
Won’t be at North from what I’ve been told. North have NOT spoken to him and that article is just pure speculation which states that only Carlton have spoken to him. Don’t know how they’ve suddenly linked North in other than the Clarko connection.

Will Clarko be playing BMac at full forward. Interesting move before to play someone who is reluctant to kick the ball
as a KPF.

If we don't take Cadman Larkey will be getting hacked and bashed on his own down there.
Still.

With our collection of poor kickers Clarko may go for a cohort of hffs who can cover more ground

Those acdc guys never became Australian citizens
