Apparently the new Coach is going to revert Himmelberg to the FWD line

Forward line looks set and 2 highly rated young mids that slipped to the 3rd round added to our stacked midfield basically overloads that area. With Ironman ROB who thrives on heavy workload and continuity supported by Strachan who is pretty well equivalent, it's really the backline that needs looking at. Smalls and mediums we're good for, so it's a KPD that is required. Only question is whether we go with a low cost backup that's ready to go, a no cost delistee or use our first to trade in a gun. Would 6 or so get us a Weitering level player?

Elijah Hollands is the one - make him priority number 1 for 2024 - if young Welsh comes on like we hope, it would be an excellent one to trade out our 1st that year for Hollands - even if it took our 2025 pick as well. He is going to be special

There is a rumour on the Essendon board that Redman is considering returning to Adelaide (crows) as RFA end of next year. I guess he'd be the Brodie Smith replacement.
Would put a few players on notice, namely McPherson, Hamil and Hinge, probably only 1 other can make the team (Redman and Hinge?).

If only we had selected Tim English (and held onto him) as recommended instead of going for Jordan Galluci’s speed ….. if so the ruck would be set for 8-10 years.
The again he probably would want to go home by now. Might have got us West Coasts’ first pick this year and thereby Philipou … and we’d still have ROB running around in the SANFL waiting for his chance.
