Dan Menzel names soime player that need to lift. I can think of a few others that need to improve consistancy.

THE FIVE ADELAIDE PLAYERS WHO NEED A BIG 2024 TO “CERTAINLY” LIFT THE CLUB INTO FINALS

Fogarty, Thilthorpe, Rachele, Pedlar, Soligo. If they take their game to a new level we should make finals quite easily.

I dont think ROB has any capacity to improve on what he already delivers.
Agreed. We need to go with a new ruck setup and only use ROB in certain games. Disappointing we didnt use the trade to bring in a ruck upgrade.

ROB - weird
Soli - like but perhaps the level just below elite is ceiling

TT - biggest scope for improvement. 4 years in next year
Rachele - not sure he should have compared himself favourably to all other 2021 draftees (ND) but expect to become elite next 1-2 years
Fogarty - get back to 2nd half 2022 form and take over forward half from Tex
Worrell - dont mind this pick. Think he could be an absolute A grader
Rankine - consistency and overtake CC as the best small fwd in the league

I think Rankine is the other one that has potential to have a big year and go to another level. I can see him following the path of Bolton from Richmond and becoming that elite mid/forward player.

Big call, but I predict him to be in the AA team at the end of next year.

IF he can get really fit over summer..I think he can go beyond Bolton level if he is played through the middle primarily. He is one of the most naturally gifted footy players since A McLeod that has come through the doors of our footy club.

Agree wirh your 5 & would add Worell to the mix too.

Ask Southerntakeover, even he said "Rachele will have fun at Collingwood" after seeing him transition into the midfield after a few months and that's saying something....clearly you didn't.

I have no doubt that he will be a very good player in our midfield.
I dont think he becomes a full time elite midfielder of the game.Nor do I think it is his most natural position.

For context, I dont consider Rory Laird an "Elite" midfielder of the game, where Im sure many do.

Laird is a solid B+ grader, Rachele is in a total different league and he looked very natural in his first 8 weeks which isn't surprising since he has played midfield before getting drafted. No doubt, he's still very dangerous when resting forward so probably develop into an 80/20 midfielder.

Can I ask why you think this?

I definitely don’t think he is a natural coalface player, but I see him eventually working very well as an outlet midfielder, has the agility and skill to make things work

Cmon Abab ....Rachele has done absolutely nothing to be compared to Laird ...nevermind being classified in a different league

Rachele has potential ....and that's all you can say on his output thus far
