Boland or Neser if Cummins is fit and Hazelwood isn't? Neser is from Queensland and arguably bowled better over the whole test, and the whinging from the Vics would be wonderful.

Just because it’d be funny

Hazelwood unlikely for the series.

Boland was next cab off the rank so it will be Neser for Cummins I think.

Would like to see Boland feature more in the team alongside Cummins, Hazlewood, Starc and Lyon.

My proposed team would look something like this.

1. Warner
2. Khawaja
3. Marnus
4. Smith
5. Head
6. Carey (wk)
7. Cummins
8. Starc
9. Boland
10. Lyon
11. Hazlewood

Only con I could see is we're a batsmen down and Green isn't in so the top 6 has to do a majority of the scoring (no WA players nooooooo but we need the best team possible). Works wonders for India with Jadeja at seven but Jadeja can bat though. Would work wonders in the Ashes in England though as I can see this attack expose England's Bazball tactics like South Africa did when they had a well rounded attack that exposed England's batting lineup. I do rate Cummins with the bat and he can hold out for a while and has a good technique and Starc can also hit them around to lift the scoring rate.

England's series this year at home and how Bazball worked for them earlier against New Zealand because they had bowling injuries and against India when they made a selection error in selecting Thakur and Siraj lost his confidence leaving them to simply see off Bumrah.

Probably not the wisest thing to use this lineup against South Africa who have a much better bowling attack than the West Indies. True test for Marnus and Head against this strong SA attack and later on against India against Ashwin, Axar and Jadeja in India.

Being a Pakistani cricket fan has to be incredibly depressing. They’re easily talented enough to challenge the top teams in the world, but neurotic enough that they will usually collapse and fall just short of actually winning.

Fun as a neutral though

According to CricInfo the soft signal is only used if the technology failed. In this case the review umpire failed. That ball touched the ground.

Nah it was the right decision imo. Definitely looked like it hit the ground but wasn't conclusive so you can't overturn the soft signal.

Thunder’s 11 is going to be very hard to beat. Three genuine international guns
