Hey you wanted bums on seats right?

And guilty as charged regarding my Jimmy G man crush. Tell me the southern bells of Charlotte wont be swooning too.

And 3 Jimmy G games is still better than what about 30 qbs put out there this year.

The Panthers have no interest in him. Would have traded for him last offseason if they did.

I used to be a Jimmy fan, in fact I was one of his biggest defenders on here a few years ago when you made the superbowl, every year since then and before it however hes got him himself injured. Its just not meant to be. Hard for any team to place faith in him with his injury history.

Lombo wasn't great, but imagine making the OC a scapegoat when you give up a 27-0 lead after hamstringing him with a pointless Mike Williams injury the week prior. I thought the HC was supposed to be a defensive guru?

Commanders are interviewing former Broncos offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur for the team's offensive coordinator vacancy.

Shurmur was fired as Denver's OC after the 2021 season, when Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Lock led one of the least productive, most inefficient offenses in the NFL. Shurmur has head coaching experience with three teams -- the Giants, Browns, and Eagles -- and has served as offensive coordinator for the Broncos, Rams, Eagles, and Vikings. Washington's OC gig opened when the team fired Scott Turner. If the team commits to Sam Howell this season -- something they might have considered four months ago -- Shurmur has a chance to succeed in Washington.

Wasn't great is putting it mildly. Imagine taking two of the biggest arms in the league and making them both unsuccessful checkdown merchants o_O

They aren't done

Yeah I talked about this the other day, said Herbert was bottom 5, but appears I was being generous and he was bottom 3.

Massive news for the Lions

Sounds like it won't be easy to get him to leave Dan Campbell's staff any time soon

I think its the best move for his career. One more year as OC before looking to become a HC. Felt this year was a touch soon.

So now Johnson is ruled out (and assuming Sean Payton is gonna cost us our top 10 pick, fk that) it comes to to Steve Wilks or Frank Reich for who I want the Panthers to hire. Would be disappointed in anyone else.

I think Frank Reich is s decent coach and he unfortunately was at a Team with a " headline whore " for an owner.
Irsay will do anything to get attention and be centre stage.

He is also an unrealistic twat, he expected Reich to run a 5 Star Michelin Restaurant, that was always going to be a tough ask, given all the bog average ingredients that he has to work with in the pantry.

Hard to present a banquet to fussy customers, when you only have turd sandwiches to serve up.

Uncle Doug is a good example of why you don't fire decent coaches on the whim of a poor season, the good franchises have realistic owners who don't fire coaches, just to make a statement, they have a more patient and realistic outlook on the ebbs and flows of seasons.

Just my two cents worth, as I think Reich would be a good fit for the Panthers.

I agree, good post.

For all the crap Reich copped for wanting Wentz he had a 3500 yard 27 TD and 7 INT season which is pretty ****ing good honestly. Anyone would think Wentz had a similar season to what he had this year in Washington the way Irsay carried on.

See how much worse Wentz stat lines have been either side of the season with Reich
