I wish we still had the golden era of radio broadcasts

Rex Hunt was once asked to show the contents of his bag at Kardinia Park, by a security guard who clearly didn't know who he was. He proceeded to have a hissy fit and empty out the bags contents all over the floor.

The guy had issues.

“Blues will consider him for selection after back surgery absolutely trained the house down, certainly is in and around the frame but as of tonight they won’t roll the dice and play him this Friday, they want to make sure is cherry ripe, Tony”
Didnt sound like he'd be back for Friday.
Taking a conservative approach.

TDK TO STAY? OR NAY?
News from multiple media outlets this week that young Carlton star Tom De Koning was closing in on a contract extension at Princes Park was met with surprise from rival clubs, who immediately jumped on the blower to suss things out. But the fears of Sydney, St Kilda and Essendon have been alleviated. Tom is still very much considering his options, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

Great vision of his ability to not get sucked towards the ball, understand where the ball is heading, run the straight line into defence based on that and provide the extra man at the contest. I am very impressed by his positioning both at stoppages and in general play, he understands the modern game instinctively, hope the coaches don't "coach" it out of him and, like they said, focus on his ability to hit the scoreboard.

Great levels of concentration as well, despite what must be a high level of fatigue towards the end of games.

Well done to the recruiters, was exactly what we needed. Dynamic half forward that opposition can't drop off for fear of the bigs and smalls cutting them up now please.
