He’s very good at it.
If he’s ever released from the SEN devil’s clutches - he’d be amazing.
He’d be great on 774.

My thoughts on him - and on clickbait - are pretty well known on here. On one hand, calling him a tulpa is mildly appropriative of me; on the other hand, it's how he functions and very much how I treat him. He obtains and achieves prominence through making other people feel anger; you only succumb to it by allowing him in, so I don't.
But unlike a metaphysical being conjured from thoughts, Cornes knows precisely what he's doing and so do those who enable him. He's nigh impossible to avoid; I clicked on the above linked article, only to see his name on it and click off, irritated because I deliberately choose not to enable him spread his bile further with whatever confirmation he gets from page clicks and forum mentions.
Not everyone's got the time or the luxury to sift through the media they consume to avoid a specific presenter or journalist, and Cornes is only positive to kick someone else.
They locked him out!Little story on Jack Martin on channel 9 tonight (Sunday). Had a short grab of him running outside princess park. Will watc with interest.
Good call actually. Even down to the bragging about how fit he is and how he could outrun most players still.Models himself on Skip Bayliss.
Six reasons:Six reasons why the Blues could party like it’s 1995
The Blues are enjoying their best start to a season since 1995, when the likes of Stephen Kernahan, Craig Bradley and Stephen Silvagni were instrumental in their 16th premiership – and last to date. Here are six reasons why the Blues have reason to believe the drought could finally end.www.theage.com.au
And the improved turnover game shows greater team defensive accountability and intent, and therefore the expectation of the collective and on each individual going forward. I like it.The improved turnover game is arguably the most important facet
Generally it makes up for 2/3rds of your scoring, so improving differential could result in a 3-4 goal swing
Expecting our contested game to improve with the return/having 4-5 of our best mids for more games

As Champion Data analyst Louie Kebakovski points out, history says a strong turnover game is needed to win the premiership. The Blues ranked mid-table (11th) in scores from turnover differential last year and were too reliant on scoring from stoppages, having ranked second in the league in scoring differential. The Age columnist Kane Cornes argued on Friday the Blues had lost their “greatest strength” – scoring from stoppages. However, they have changed in 2023, outscoring opponents by 15.5 points per game from turnovers, ranked third. They rank 16th in scores from stoppage, which needs to improve, but it could be argued they have more than compensated for that with a strong turnover game.
If our contested numbers do improve on the back of our better midfield set up returning and we maintain our d50 turnover game we could be in for a substantial jump and potentially premiership contenders.Really interested to see if can we bump the scoring from stoppage up whilst still scoring well from turnover.
As a side note I work in stats and love this kind of stuff, but constantly frustrated that so much interesting analysis is kept under lock and key. Wish I could look up a table to see how different teams rank in these metrics.. alas, I'll just keep waiting for whatever scraps shows like first crack or on the couch throw me
Let's see how we fair with a full division of mids ..Six reasons:
- CC and H double act
- Weiterbot and strong defence
- greater midfield depth
- improved turnover game from 2022
- pain of last year
- embracing the hype/it's the vibe...
Whatchootalkin'?Let's see how we fair with a full division of mids ..
Our mids have barely played together from end of last season to now - always somebody out injured during that time.Kane is usually a flog, however I don't think his article was as bad as some here seem to think. "Voss’ team has lost its greatest strength - scoring from stoppages. ". We have lost our one wood. Sure last years game plan needed some tweeks, but we played some dominant footy last year and were in some powerful positions in lots of games. Only a kick away against Melb and Collingwood from being in the finals with close to a full strength side . Our gamestyle this year has gone to s**t. Slow ball movement is killing us and allowing teams to set their structures up way too easy and bombing long to a 4 against 1 is horrendous. Let's face it we have beaten some pretty average sides so far. Big questions need to be asked of what our coaching group is trying to implement. It's hard to see how we are going to improve with our current playing style.

i watched our guys live against the suns last year. our mids got shredded. we had hewett cripps cerra walsh and kennedy....think one got injured in game but still. Our mids have barely played together from end of last season to now - always somebody out injured during that time.
Clearly they know how to get the job done.
Hopefully time cures our woes
Cripps was off during the first quarter. He’d already had 7 and a goal.i watched our guys live against the suns last year. our mids got shredded. we had hewett cripps cerra walsh and kennedy....think one got injured in game but still.
