Just watched a video of his parents stating how happy he is at Collingwood. Loves Fly and all the coaching staff.Has already showed a lot in 2 games. How good is that we have him for at least the next 4 years.
Ryan. Richards. Steene and Allan are like real close. Peas in a pod from what I know.Just watched a video of his parents stating how happy he is at Collingwood. Loves Fly and all the coaching staff.
Best buddies with Jakob Ryan and Joe Richards.
Time for a reboot

Ed's testing result are pretty impressive.
Ed gets named as an emergency. A good reward for good performance.
But I feel like we'll get Wilson on as the sub due to his strong performances and the possibility that we use him to rotate in the ruck.
Yeah I recognise the song. It's not one to which I would ever have bothered putting a title or name, hence my ignorance. But I am making you my bigfooty song merchant - it's the second one you have sent my way this week!
Markov will be the sub.My heart says Allen
My head says Wilson is more likely to be sub… not as a ruck… but as a utility who can fill a gap left by someone rucking or allow a reshuffle up front or down back
I don’t see Markov or Macrae being named this week
Isn't it bloody marvellous that so many of our kids are stepping up and considered 'ready to go'?Fly spoke highly of Ed in his last presser so it wouldn't surprise me to see him get the nod as sub. Clearly a case could be made for all of the listed emergencies to be Sub for the night. Fin has been doing well at VFL level and is clearly ready, Allen has put in a couple of good performances, is getting credit from Fly and would be a handy addition (height & pace). Same for Markov plus he's experienced in the climate and would want to impress. Wilson has also been performing very well in the VFL but he's been playing mostly forward by all accounts and I'm not sure that is what we need for this match. His height and flexibility would be welcome but he is lower in the pecking order, for mine.

I just posted in the music thread about going to see Kurt Vile and the Violators last night and my mate and I being the eldest there. I kind of like to take on new music rather than living off the greatest hits of 60s and 70s bands. Thanks
Music is my Weapon of Choice
I wouldn't be surprised if they completely refrain from naming him sub the entire season even if he is the 23rd best player. Primarily because apart from Steene, he might be the player it is most critical to get game time into on the entire list. Either he makes the team or he plays full games in the twos.Fly spoke highly of Ed in his last presser so it wouldn't surprise me to see him get the nod as sub. Yes we do. Superstar.
Did Jesus have brothers? Or are we related by fat?

This kids development due to his skillset is arguably the most important focus the team has from a developmental perspective because of the age profile of our most important midfielders. You see some other young teams with absolute stud big bodied inside mids (North are gonna be a problem when Wardlaw comes through), and you realise we are gonna need some serious talent to phase in as our older players phase out if we want to maintain similar quality.
Reef?I was watching the Swans get pummelled again by Geelong last night & in particular watched Jeremy Cameron.
He's a fantastic player - not your standard key forward, because of his mobility.
Ed is about the same height & level of athleticism (although lighter at this stage), and I wondered if Ed has the potential to be a similar sort of player.
Yes, very early days, and he is considered a midfielder/winger, but if he develops his aerial game he could be a threat on many levels.
At this stage, I don't think Reef has the endurance, so he's more of a burst player.Reef?
