That’s three weeks of high quality footy from Binns.

Confident he can play seniors.

I love the fact he knows how to find the ball. For a long time we recruited guys who look great with it but are unable to accumulate. It is one of the hardest things to teach and you rarely see players who cant find it in juniors improve in that area.
Also works so hard. Always in the play. Could have had 40 if we used him more.

What about disposal…can that be improved (at CFC, we don’t have Chocco)?

Some nice developing players

As for smarts, Lemmey, Binns, Plow are or will be too good for this level

Lemmey is just so composed, genuine KPP at either end. Great forward patterns, strong hands and a beautiful kick. Reads the phase of play very well

Binns is another running machine and is building nicely. Knows his limitations by foot, so generally makes good decisions where to be kicking to a teammate's advantage. Defensively very disciplined. A goal kicking wingman, gold

Plow too good and smart for this level, very handy backup

O'Keffee is very mobile and once he adds some weight will play ahead of Mirkov. Not mongrel but a genuine combative nature. Simple, solid kicking technique

Dow still getting a bucket load of the ball, but still struggles with hurt factor due to being average by foot. Nice hitting the scoreboard. His hands are beautifully safe on the inside. Tackles well when on the inside. Without the ball is still the issue, lost in defensive zone, jogs back and lacks intent defensively

Akuei is still miles off, losing count how often he runs under a high ball. Too close to the pack when he is the last defender

Mirkov, still non-existent away from a hitout

Fog, very solid VFL player

Kemp has improved his contest work, both at ground level and in the air. Needs to build his decision making and disposal, once he has the pill

Great win, missing so many AFL listed players
