You were up and about something shocking an hour ago. Hang your head in shame! Couldn't have mozzed them anymore than that

It’s such a huge advantage Collingwood have playing huge games in front of big crowds every year. You’d get acclimatised to the pressure.
But they still haven't won a a grand final for 13 years.

Geez that's a tough one to watch for an Essendon fan. Naughty Jake puts 'em five goals up and cocky, lead then slowly slipping away, momentum with the pies. All the while thinking they just need a settler, get the chance with Draper in front, only for huge disappointment, followed by the heartbreak of another pies goal and having to endure the indignity of the pies killing the clock. Then the burgeoning realisation of defeat, frustrated, helpless to do anything. And if all that wasn't enough, behold the final dagger after the siren.

Gonna be some po po filin' papers tonight.

I don't get why Saints fans can't start a "Sainters" chant.
Mainly the lack of numbers. Once we prove to be the real deal the crowds will pour back and we can shake the dome again.

I don’t understand how Daicos can be so good after just 30 odd games. What’s his ceiling? Is he going to average 45 touches and 3 goals a game later in his career?

Could be as good as Owens if he keeps it up.

I don't think so, he's an unnacountanle half back atm. Once he starts getting some attention it will die down. Not a knock on him but he gets ALOT of handball receives and blocks from team mates (as he should as well). But his work ethic is excellent.

Essendon have a decent list but Scott will keep them from truly realising their potential. He has always been a very average coach.

One thing that is huge in footy is the ability to stick tackles. Bombers were falling off tackles a lot.

Collingwood are a hard side to tackle. They move the ball too quickly and spread to always have options.

What Daicos is doing is impressive, but if you had a hypothetical full league redraft he is not the first picked. Im still going with something like Cripps 22 contested possessions on the weekend. Inside mids are still king, then your key position players imo, Moore is more valuable to the pies.

His ceiling is that his contested game will improve and he will hit the scoreboard more often. He will transition from the back flank to a permanent inside/outside midfielder and become a more damaging player overall.

The sky’s the limit. I don’t think there’s been a player that has ever come onto the scene at his level. He’s already the Pies best player and top 5 player in the league, and will likely be the best in the league by the end of the season winning the Brownlow and every other individual award.

I reckon he's special, it's almost like they've been able to create a game plan around his ball use. Moore is a gun too though.

He’s like Sinclair but gets far more footy and regularly hits the scoreboard. And he’s 8 years younger. Loves a big game and a big moment. He’s scary good.

If you were looking to win a flag immediately, probably not, but given Nick is only 19yo I'd think he would be close to #1 for anybody looking to the future.

Can talk all we want about how "Oh he's a half back who gets easy touches." He's also kicking goals and dragging his team over the line when it matters most. Natural leader and has the team following him.

If his ceiling is "Goal Kicking Luke Hodge" that's a bloody insane ceiling.

He's the only first year player I've ever heard of projecting as the GOAT. By half way through last year Pies fans knew they had something special. This year he's gone up another level. Rare for anyone not playing as a mid to win a Brownlow but you can't imagine anyone taking it off him right now.

The thing is that he's an elite ball user and sees the play unfolding better than most, he's an architect of most of Collingwood's attacking. Hodge had the hard leader in the trenches thing. I think Daicos has silk and skills way above Hodge and looks like he does it all effortlessly. Hodge worked hard for his respect. This little campaigner looks like he's going in second gear and no-one else is on his level.

Honestly reckon his ceiling is the best player in history. That's not even hyperbole. Second year player that looks peak Gary Ablett Jnr level.
