To end this discussion WE WONT BE getting a Priority Pick just like last year the other Clubs won’t allow it including those Clubs that have layed down and full on cheated to get them.
This Club and Supporters need to WAKE UP we are hated and dispersed by all in the AFL and fact the NMFC is the most hated sporting club in Australia .
As a club the Board,Coaching Staff,Players and Supporters need to take the Us against them attitude and need to ban the following organisations from our club.
Channel 7 .
Channel 9.
Triple M.
SEN.
The Herald Sun.
The Age.
These Fu:king Cu:ts need to be brought into line.
But knowing the NMFC WOKE Board they will let this Genocide Attitude continue as this club will continue to be bent over.
Maybe we can sign Vaseline as a sponsor to encourage the bending over to continue.

If McKay leaves we’ll get one after our first, which is most likely two top four picks, add in Ports pick and we’ll have three in the top twelve or so;
Other clubs would riot if we picked up another top five PP pick.

Aiming for one or two preselections is achievable imo; Another thing to getting a pre selection of late firsts or early seconds is helps our draft strategy, as we know what type of player we’ve already got.

Losing MCKay should help our case for a PP actually. One of the reasons the GC got them was the number of gun players leaving. If we lose JHF, McKay and potentially TT from one GF to the next then surely we have a good case for a one on top of just how bad we've been.

Personally tho I'd rather these guys won footy games and showed the world we don't need one.

I reckon that's why Goater, Perez and Bergmen are in there together. Maybe even Bonar and Young are considered at least part of the future even if they are the depth guys. It makes sense to keep those three playing together at whatever level they play just so they get to know each others games and build their knowledge of how the coach wants them to play. Guys like LMac and JZ can cover them for now.

Based on tht we might even see one of them into the firsts now that Goater is out with a hammy.

It certainly would be, but it’s not looking crash hot right now.

Gil already put it on the table when talking about the concessions last year.
He mentioned something along the lines of GC getting state league concessions and then the following year getting stronger ND concessions.

So yes priority picks have been handed out, but there might be more to come if we continue to stink.

priority picks will 100% be continued to be handed out, GC got a king’s ransom a couple of years back.

The compensation pick is not a 'judgement' thing - it is based purely on the contract size and length.

If BMac gets low balled by another team then we will just match and he will continue to play for us.

We may still match anyway - but in the example that BMac gets a substantial contract offer from another team ie 5 years for 3.5m or above - then that will come with band 1 compo to us - and certainly a pick at the pointy end of the draft given the way we are playing.
