There is no chance in hell that the afl ever give us a first round priority pick.
Correct on that but if we had a Blue jumper with a Red V or Dark Blue jumper with a white CFC in it then yes we would get the Priority pick but haven’t the AFL hate us with a passion as we said No to Gold Coast plus we don’t live under the Umbrella of protection of the AFL like the interstate sides St.Kilda and Western Scumdogs.

They have to. Excepting that they won’t would be part of the reason they don’t.

Hopefully we never find out, but if North finish last we have to be loud as supporters that we expect a priority pick. Can’t make it easy for the pricks.

Agree with all of that. We need to think outside the box to maximise our position.

If we end up with a top 2 pick I think it would be a lot of sense to split it and increase our draft hand. We have so many holes all across our list and we simply need more bites at the cherry.
So you would be fine giving up a Ried or Watson pick.

The afl ain’t giving us 1st overall PP, we’d better off asking for pre selection of Ryley Sanders. As part of our next Gen.
Gold Coast got to pre select Jeffrey and Davies, that same year they had finished 13th I think. Both were expected to be top 15 picks. The dream for us would be for them to allow us to pick up Sanders and McKercher for nothing as NGA talents - both would be top 10-20 picks. This would only happen (and still only be less than a 50/50) if we finished last. If we did finish last we’d most likely lose McKay, so the dream scenario would look like:

1. Harley Reid
2. Dan Curtin
Ports 1st. Archer Reid
Pre selection: Colby McKercher
Pre selection: Ryley Sanders
Pre selection: Jack Callinan

Reality is we don’t get anything and I’m pretty confident we still don’t finish last. Heaps of work to do either way.

Would you trade any of those for a forward from Gold Coast?

We really need Nick Watson and we really need a key position player like Archer Reid but we could really, really, use someone who can run and also hit a target.

It seems that all of our best runners are our worst at disposing the ball. It's a bad position because they run enough to get involved in our drives but then they just turn it over.

So if that person is in the draft then I'd love to get them.

Swap Dan Curtin for Watson, we’re desperate need of a couple of smalls and he’s clearly the best.
Picking up he and Callinan would be an excellent result. They’d make immediate impact in the ones, both legitimately add avenues to goals.
Harley Reid could easily play off half back for the first few years as well. Pretty good all round result, I’m not to worried about talls, pick up one a year. You’ll be sacked soon enough.

they most certainly don't have to do anything, they have no form of consistency on this at all, and nothing we write on here will have any effect on the outcome.

Couple of WA players to keep an eye on. I personally haven't seen all of them play, but have a good mate involved with WA development who mentioned a few of these names when talking about KP's and quick outside or skilful types. I'd say the vast majority of these kids will get an opportunity in the state side at some stage.

Key Position Players:

Coen Livingstone - Was a key forward but is now more of a ruck due to a growth spurt that has him a tad over 200cm. Well built, physical and has decent athleticism. Capable of big contested marks.

Sam Van Rooyen - Cut from the same cloth as his brother. Leading goal kicker in the WAFL Colts with bags of 5,3,2 to start off the year. A touch undersize at 193cm and 85kg.

Luker Kentfield - Athletic key forward who really attacks the contest hard. Will be one of the younger players in this years draft with a later birth date. Good work rate, natural forward craft. Capable in the air but also on the ground. 194cm and 93kg. Stacks of upside. Made his debut at league level on the weekend, which is a pretty good feat for a 17 year old.

Mids/Flankers/Wings:

Clay Hall - 190cm left footer who is at home on both the inside and the outside. Has strong running capacity, mature body and isn't afraid to take the game on. Classy ball user and a point of difference considering his height. Made his league debut on the weekend and had 16 disposals and 6 tackles.

Lance Collard - Indigenous mid who has good skill, evasiveness and dynamic movement. Can play outside or inside and loves to kick goals.

Bailey Harbour - Half back or wing who likes to use his athleticism to mark and create off half back. Capable of big contested marks. Had 25 disposals and 12 marks in a BOG display for East Perth on the weekend

Jett Sibasado - Another left footer who has some serious X-factor. Excellent kick who loves to run and carry. Has some flair in his game with his run and carry. Predominantly an outside type.
Isn’t clay the son of Derek?

To end this discussion WE WONT BE getting a Priority Pick just like last year the other Clubs won’t allow it including those Clubs that have layed down and full on cheated to get them.
This Club and Supporters need to WAKE UP we are hated and dispersed by all in the AFL and fact the NMFC is the most hated sporting club in Australia .
As a club the Board,Coaching Staff,Players and Supporters need to take the Us against them attitude and need to ban the following organisations from our club.
Channel 7 .
Channel 9.
Triple M.
SEN.
The Herald Sun.
The Age.
These Fu:king Cu:ts need to be brought into line.
But knowing the NMFC WOKE Board they will let this Genocide Attitude continue as this club will continue to be bent over.
Maybe we can sign Vaseline as a sponsor to encourage the bending over to continue.

Bailey Harbour = The Sydney.

He sounds like someone we would absolutely need!

We can’t have that defeatist attitude regarding this, Carlton supporters would be demanding 2 priority picks.
If McKay leaves we’ll get one after our first, which is most likely two top four picks, add in Ports pick and we’ll have three in the top twelve or so;
Other clubs would riot if we picked up another top five PP pick.

Aiming for one or two preselections is achievable imo; Another thing to getting a pre selection of late firsts or early seconds is helps our draft strategy, as we know what type of player we’ve already got.
