All the metro VIC clubs went to VFA/VFL alignments in the early 2000s, we remain unique in that we're the only Vic side who've not either gone back to standalone, or effectively subsumed their junior partner.

It seemed a better fix when we swapped Casey to Sandy, but Sandy was a much stronger stand alone team, and it was harder for StKilda to get the right games into the players.
Nick Sautner in particular was a key forward in the fifty, and it reduced our capability to train forwards.

Now he’s showing the goal kicking he was touted for pre draft. Hasn’t done it at afl level yet but if he can start doing that he’s a change of pace we need in the midfield

Didn’t watch the whole game but keeler had an almost game. Looks like he is gonna have a big one soon. Phillips was good again, big body could be a handy player

Half forward. Was serviceable. Hard to dominated and stand out in that position. Webster and windy we’re both very good
